Doctors' responses

- Complaints: Low appetite, gas, bloating, difficulty gaining weight - Prakriti: Likely Vata-Pitta imbalance (common in low weight + gas + PCOD) 1. Aahara (Dietary Advice) Morning: Warm water with Ajwain (Carom seeds) and honey. Meals: Prefer light, warm, cooked foods (khichdi, dalia, moong dal soup). Include ghee (1–2 tsp/day) for digestion and nourishment. Eat small, frequent meals (5–6 times/day). - Foods to avoid: Cold/raw foods, carbonated drinks, beans, cabbage, fried or processed food. Include: Milk, paneer, nuts, jaggery, seasonal fruits (ripe bananas, papaya), warm soups. 2. Aushadhi - A. For Appetite & Digestion Chitrakadi Vati – 1 tab twice daily before meals with warm water Trikatu Churna – ½ tsp with warm water after meals to reduce gas Himalaya Digestive / Avipattikar Churna – 1 tsp in warm water at night, if bloating persists B. For Weight Gain / Rasayana - Ashwagandha Churna – 1 tsp with warm milk before bed (helps nourishment & hormonal balance) - Shatavari Churna – 1 tsp in milk morning or night (especially for PCOD & female hormonal support) 3. Lifestyle & Dinacharya Wake up early (preferably before 6 am) Gentle walking after meals (10–15 min) Avoid late-night eating Abhyanga (oil massage): Warm sesame oil massage 15–20 min daily to improve digestion & calm Vata - Yoga/Pranayama: Surya Namaskar, Bhramari, Nadi Shodhan (reduce stress & improve metabolism) 4. Follow-Up Review after 3–4 weeks for weight and appetite Adjust formulations based on digestion and tolerance Tq
