Seeking Permanent Relief from Long-term Acidity Issues - #49290

Age:35 Weight: 80 kg Suffering from acidity since the past 8 to 10 years and have been taking esomeprazole/omeprazole/rabeprazole mostly twice a day. The acidity issue seems to be alright whenever I continue taking medicines even if it is once a day. Whenever I try to stop taking this medicine, I start experiencing acidity/heartburn complain within a couple of days after stopping the medicines. Looking for a permanent solution and remedy in Ayurvedic medicines for this problem.

Diagnosis (Ayurvedic): Amlapitta (Pitta prakopa in Annavaha Srotas)
Rx:
- Avipattikar Churna – 5 g, twice daily with lukewarm water after meals
- Shankha Bhasma – 125–250 mg, once daily after meals
- Trikatu Churna – 1 g, once daily with warm water before meals (optional, for digestion)
- Fennel seeds (Saunf) + 1/2 tsf gulkand – 1 tsp, chew after meals
-Mulethi powder – 1 g, twice daily with warm water or milk
- Diet & Lifestyle Advice:
Eat 3–4 small, regular meals; avoid late-night eating.
Avoid spicy, fried, sour, and fermented foods.
Drink warm water; avoid cold drinks.
Gentle walk after meals; avoid lying down immediately.
Practice Vajrasana for 5–10 min after meals.
- Duration: 4–6 weeks, then reassess. Gradually taper PPIs .
