LOSS OF TASTE FOLLOWING COVID 19 VIRUS ATTACK. I HAVE READ THAT IT IS COMMON. ALSO EXCESSIVE SALIVA WHEN EATING THAT I HAVE TO SPIT OUT. SINCE FOOD IS NOT TASTING RIGHT IT IS HARD TO EST PROPERLY. SO HAVE LOST A LOT OF WEIGHT.

-Loss of taste after COVID is common and at 1–2 months you’re still in the normal recovery window. It often improves over weeks to months, sometimes longer. Excess saliva when eating can happen with taste loss and is usually not dangerous, just uncomfortable. - weight loss matters -For now: Eat small, frequent meals Use smoothies, soups, protein drinks Add calories with oils, butter, nut butters Try smell training (coffee, citrus, mint) twice daily -Treatment Plan 1. Tab. Lavangadi Vati 1 tablet 3 times daily To be sucked slowly Before meals 2. Churna: Trikatu Churna ¼ tsp twice daily With honey Before food 3. Ghrita: Panchatikta Ghrita 1 tsp once daily With warm water or warm rice gruel Morning 4. Nasya: Anu Taila 2 drops in each nostril Once daily, morning (Empty stomach) 5. Gandusha (Oil pulling) Sesame oil, lukewarm 5–10 minutes daily Spit out completely -Pathya (Diet & Lifestyle) Warm, freshly cooked food Thin gruels, soups, rice, dal Add ginger, black pepper, cumin Avoid cold, oily, heavy, sweet foods Eat small quantities, frequent meals -Apathya (Avoid) Cold drinks Curd at night Fried/junk food Daytime sleep -Follow-up: Review after 14–21 days
