I’ve had GERD for about 6 months now. What diet should I take to get rid of it completely? I get a lot of burping and chest heaviness because of acidity, and I want a quick recovery.

-Avoid: Acidic foods: citrus, tomatoes Spicy, fried, fatty foods Chocolate, peppermint, caffeine, alcohol Carbonated drinks -Eat: Vegetables: carrots, broccoli, zucchini Fruits: bananas, apples, melons Lean proteins: chicken, fish, tofu, eggs Whole grains: rice, oats, whole-wheat bread Healthy fats: olive oil, avocado - u must have to follow this Small, frequent meals Don’t lie down 2–3 hours after eating Elevate bed head if nighttime reflux Avoid tight clothes Manage weight & stress -Diagnosis: Amlapitta (GERD/Acidity) 1. Shaman Aushadhi - Avipattikar Churna – 5 g with warm water before bed Trikatu Churna – 1 g with honey before meals (if digestion is weak) Kamdudha Ras – 250 mg twice daily after meals (for severe acidity) Amlapitta mishran 2 tsf with equal amount of water after meal ----- if symptoms persist nd no relief even after 15 days will go through panchkarma procedure ( virechana)
