Hello Thanks for reaching out about your cholesterol. It’s a pretty common issue these days, but we can definitely get it under control with the right approach. YOUR CONCERN – Your total cholesterol is 255 mg/dl (which is a bit high). – You’re thinking of trying Arjun bark powder and ginger water. – You’re wondering if boiled eggs are okay. AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING High cholesterol often comes from an imbalance. In simple words, it’s kinda like things getting a bit clogged up because of: – Eating too much heavy, oily, or sweet stuff. – Not moving around enough. – Your digestion being a bit sluggish. – A build-up of toxins in your blood. This can lead to, well, blockages in your blood vessels. Arjun Bark: Good call! Arjuna can: – Help lower cholesterol. – Clean up your blood vessels. – Protect your heart. – Get your circulation going better. How to take it: – 3 grams of Arjuna powder. – Mix it in warm water. – Take it on an empty stomach in the morning. Ginger Water: Awesome choice! Ginger is great because it: – Helps melt fat. – Boosts your digestion. – Gets rid of toxins. – Aids in cholesterol control. How to take it: – Boil about ½ tsp of crushed ginger in a cup of water. – Drink it warm about 2 hours after you take the Arjuna… Boiled Eggs: Okay, so whole eggs every day aren’t the best idea right now. – Egg whites? Totally fine (2–3). – Egg yolk? Maybe skip it for now – it can raise LDL. DIET PLAN INCLUDE – Oats – Barley – Garlic – Onion – Amla – Green veggies – Buttermilk AVOID – Fried foods – Ghee, butter, cheese – Red meat – Bakery stuff, biscuits – Sugar Extra Help: To get faster results, you can take Triphala powder – 5 grams at night with warm water. It can: – Help clear out fat from your gut. – Clean up cholesterol build-up. – Give your metabolism a boost. Your plan with Arjuna and ginger water is solid, but what you eat really makes the biggest difference. Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

cholesterol level of 255 does need attention but it can be managed with proper diet lifestyle and supportive ayurvedic care Arjuna chhal powder can be taken daily but the correct dose and timing is important You may take half teaspoon Arjuna chhal powder mixed in warm water once daily after breakfast as taking it on empty stomach can sometimes cause gastric discomfort Ginger water is helpful for improving digestion and metabolism and can be taken in the morning or between meals You may take ginger water one to two hours after breakfast Having a boiled egg is acceptable if digestion is comfortable but limit it to one whole egg per day and preferably take it in the morning or afternoon Along with this daily walking light exercise stress reduction and diet control are very important Avoid fried food bakery items sweets excess oil and late night meals Increase vegetables fruits and fiber rich food With regular care and consistency cholesterol levels usually start improving gradually over a few months

HELLO, Your cholestrol level is higher than normal. Cholestrol itself is not bad- it is needed by the body- but when it increases beyond limits, it starts depositing inside blood vessels. Overtime, this can -narrow blood vessels -reduce blood flow to heart and brain -increase risk of heart attack, stroke, high bp, diabetes In Ayurveda, this condition is mainly related to -Kapha Dosha increase -meda Dhatu dushti (fat tissue imbalance ) -low agni (digestive and metabolic fire) Because digestion and metabolism become weak with age, fat is not properly processed and starts accumulating in the body and blood. This leads to -heaviness -lethargy -weight gain (sometimes even without eating much) -high cholestrol and triglycerides This condition is slowly progressive but reversible if managed correctly. TREATMENT GOALS -improve agni (digestion+metabolism) -remove ama (toxic metabolic waste) -normalize meda Dhatu -clear blocked channels -protect heart and blood vessels -prevent future complications INTERNAL MEDICATIONS 1) AMRIT KALASH= 1 tsp once daily morning on empty stomach with warm water for 3 months =powderful Rasayana, improves metabolism at tissue level , reduces oxidative stress, supports heart health and immunity Amrit kalas suports metabolism but does not directly cut fat-it prepares the body to respond to treatment 2) MEDOHARA GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals for 12 weeks =breaks down excess fat, improves lipid metabolism, clears blocked channels 3) ARJUNA CAPSULE= 1 cap twice daily with warm water or Arjun chal powder daily =strenthens heart muscles, protects blood vessels, useful in elderly with cholestrol 4) TRIPHALA= 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime =mild detoxification, improves digestion, prevents fat accumulation DIET -barley, oats , millets -green vegetables- lauki, tori, karela, methi -garlic 1-2 cloves daily -turmeric, cumin, coriander -warm soups -buttermilk daytime only AVOID -fried foods, bakery items -cheese, butter, cream, -red meat -excess rice, refined flour -sugar, sweets, cold drinks -curd at night BASIC RULES -eat light and warm food -stop eating when 80% full -no heavy dinner -avoid eating after sunset if possible LIFESTYLE CHANGES -wake up early -walk 30-45 min daily -avoid daytime sleep -sleep before 10 pm MENTAL HEALTH -stress increases cholestrol -practice calm breathing and positive routine YOGA ASANAS -tadasana -trikonaasana -pawanmuktasana -vajrasana after meals PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= 10 min daily -Bhramari= 5 rounds -Deep breathing= morning and evening Avoid forceful PRANAYAM if bp or heart issues exists HOME REMEDIES -warm water with 1/2 tsp turmeric daily -garlic soaked overnight 1 clove -jeera water -avoid cold water DURATION OF TREATMENT AND EXPECTATIONS -Initial improvement= 4-6 weeks -Cholestrol reduction= 8-12 weeks -Long term stability= lifestyle + diet essential Ayurveda works slowly but deeply. Consistency is more important than strong medicines Your condition is manageable and reversible. Mediicnes alone will not work unless diet and lifestyle change. Ayurveda does not suppress cholestrol- it teaches your body to balance itself again If you follow -proper diet -daily walking -regular mediicnes -calm lifestyle You can reduce cholestrol naturally, protect your heart, and improve overall quality of life DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU DR. MAITRI ACHARYA
