HELLO, You asked about Baidyanath Liverol syrup or Baidyanath Liverex tablets for mild fatty liver while having diabetes (fasting sugar 135 mg/dL) and high blood pressure Both liverol and liverex are Ayurvedic liver tonics. They usually contains, bhumyamalaki, kutki, and other hepatoprotective herbs -Evidence supporting their effectiveness for fatty liver is limited; most studies are small, not robust, or not specific to diabetic pateints SAFETY VIEW -These herbal products are generally well tolerated, but some herbs may interact with medications (especially for diabetes and blood pressure) -Diabetic patients need to be cautions because some herbal ingredients can alter blood sugar levels CORE MANAGEMENT OF FATTY LIVER For mild fatty liver, the most effective interventions are 1) DIET AND WEIGHT MANAGEMENT -reduce refined carbs, sugary foods, and saturated fats -Include whole grains, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats like olive oil, nuts) 2) PHYSICAL ACTIVITY -30-45 min brisk walking, 5 times/week 3) BLOOD SUGAR AND BLOOD PRESSURE CONTROL -keep fasting sugar ideally <110mg/dL -control BP as per advice 4) PRACTICAL ADVICE ABOUT LIVEROL/LIVEREX -They may be used as supportive supplements, but should not replace lifestyle measures -check for sugar content in syrup- important since your fasting sugar is already 135 mg/dL Lifestyle measures are key; supplements can be adjuncts, not primary treatment DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU DR. MAITRI ACHARYA

-You can take Baidyanath Liverol syrup or Liverex tablets, but they won’t reverse fatty liver on their own. Focus on: Controlling blood sugar (your fasting 135 mg/dL is high) Healthy diet: low sugar, low refined carbs, avoid fried foods Regular exercise: 30 min brisk walking daily Weight management

Hello Idris ji, Thanks for sharing your reports and concerns. Dealing with fatty liver, diabetes, and blood pressure needs a safe, well-thought-out Ayurvedic plan. But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 YOUR CONCERN – Mild fatty liver – Fasting blood sugar: 135 mg/dl (diabetic range) – High blood pressure – Mild tummy discomfort – Thinking about taking Baidyanath Liverol syrup or Liverex tablets What Ayurveda Says: Your situation is best seen as: – Fat buildup in the liver – Slow metabolism – Poor fat and sugar burning – Fatty liver + diabetes means your body isn’t responding to insulin. It also means you have toxic fat building up in your liver. Liverol vs Liverex – Which is safer?Baidyanath Liverol Syrup – Has a sugar base – Not good if you have diabetes – Can raise your blood sugar → Skip it ✅ Baidyanath Liverex Tablets – No sugar – Has: -Kalmegh - Bhringraj - Kutki -Punarnava -Daruharidra These lower liver fat and swelling. 👉 Liverex is SAFE if you have diabetes and BP issues. Treatment Goals: – Lower liver fat – Improve sugar use – Protect liver cells – Avoid things that raise glucose or BP Ayurvedic Plan: Baidyanath Liverex Tablets Dose: 2 tablets, twice a day after eating 3 months What it does: –Lowers fat buildup –Improves liver enzymes –Cleans the liver Triphala ChurnaDose: 1 tsp with warm water at night –Keeps sugar absorption in check –Boosts fat burning –Prevents constipation Nisha Amalaki Churna (for diabetes + liver) 1 tsp before breakfast with lukewarm water –Lowers fasting sugar –Improves how your liver uses insulin HOME REMEDIES –Warm Water + Lemon: 1 glass in the morning (no sugar) –Methi seeds: Soak 1 tsp overnight, then drink the water in the morning. –Buttermilk with roasted jeera after lunch DIET PLAN ✅ Eat: –Moong dal –Bottle gourd, pumpkin –Oats, barley –bitter gourd –Papaya, apple –Steamed vegetables ❌ Avoid: – Rice at night – Sugar, sweets – Bakery stuff, biscuits –Fried food –Milk at night – No alcohol at all Lifestyle: – Walk 30–40 minutes a day – No naps – Eat dinner early, before 7:30 pm Yes Baidyanath Liverex Tablets are safe and good for your fatty liver, even with diabetes and BP issues. Skip the Liverol syrup because of the sugar. With the right meds and diet, fatty liver can get better in 3–6 months. Stick with it, and you’ll see a real change. Warm Regards – Dr Snehal Vidhate

Liverol Syrup---- - Contains herbs like Kalmegh (Andrographis), Bhringraj, Kasni, Punarnava, Giloy, Amla. - Traditionally used for liver detox, improving digestion, and supporting metabolism. - Dosage (general): 2 teaspoons twice daily after meals with lukewarm water. - Anupana (vehicle): Warm water. Liverex Tablets— - Contains Kutki, Kalmegh, Punarnava, Giloy, Kasni, Bhringraj. - Supports liver function, reduces fatty infiltration, and aids metabolism. - Dosage (general): 1–2 tablets twice daily after meals with lukewarm water. - Anupana: Warm water. ⚠️ Important Considerations *Both formulations are supportive for fatty liver and metabolism. *Since you are diabetic (fasting sugar ~135 mg/dl) and hypertensive, these medicines are generally safe, but: - Monitor blood sugar and BP regularly. - Avoid combining with other hepatoprotective drugs without medical guidance. - Do not exceed recommended dosage. 🥗 Lifestyle & Diet (Essential Alongside Medicines) - Diet: Avoid fried, oily, and refined foods. Favor green leafy vegetables, whole grains, and bitter foods (like methi, karela). - Exercise: Gentle yoga and walking daily. - Stress management: Pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) to balance metabolism. - Avoid alcohol and excess sugar — critical for fatty liver and diabetes. WARM REGARDS DR. ANJALI SEHRAWAT

Baidyanath Liverol Syrup is slightly better for you (more gentle, easier to digest, better for diabetics with mild discomfort). Dose: 2 tsp (10 ml) twice daily after meals with water Continue for 2–3 months and repeat LFT + USG abdomen If you prefer tablets: Liverex – 1 tablet twice daily after meals ✓Important rules Continue your diabetes & BP medicines exactly as prescribed – no change/stoppage Monitor fasting sugar & BP twice weekly for first 2 weeks (rarely slight fluctuation possible) If any new stomach upset, loose motion or BP rise = reduce dose or stop & consult doctor ✓Diet & Lifestyle (must follow for real liver fat reduction) Keep balanced diet but: Reduce carbs (rice/roti small portion) → replace with millets (jowar/bajra/ragi), moong dal Add daily: karela juice 50 ml morning, methi seeds soaked (1 tsp), 1 tsp ground flaxseeds Ghee/oil only 1–2 tsp total/day Dinner before 7 pm, no late snacks 45 min brisk walk daily (after meals best) Sleep 10 pm – 6 am strictly Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
