Hello Okay, so you’re 68, dealing with diabetes and heart issues, and had bypass surgery back in '08. You’re wondering if it’s cool to take Ashwagandha and Safed Musli together, and how much you should take, given your age and health stuff. Good question! Gotta be careful with those kinds of herbs when you’ve got heart problems or diabetes. Basically, your body’s probably running a bit low on energy and strength. After surgery, with diabetes for a long time, and just getting older, things like energy, muscle strength, hormones and immunity can drop. Nerves and blood flow might not be as great either. Ashwagandha and Safed Musli are supposed to help rebuild strength, balance hormones, and support nerves and tissues. But, gotta use them carefully if you’ve got heart problems. Here’s the plan: – Safely boost strength and energy – Help hormones and muscles – Support your heart and blood flow – Keep sugar levels steady – Get your overall energy up So, here’s what you can do medicine-wise: You can take both, but keep the amounts small: 1. Ashwagandha Churna: Half a teaspoon (500 mg) at night with warm milk or water. 2. Safed Musli Churna: Quarter of a teaspoon (250 mg) at night, mixed in with the Ashwagandha. Don’t take more than that! This small dose should help with: – Strength – Hormone balance – Immunity Without stressing your heart or messing with your sugar. Other things that can help: 1 massage some *Mahanarayan oil- gently on your legs and back to help blood flow and nerve strength. 2. Soak 2 almonds overnight and eat them daily 3. Eat one date a day 4 Have 1 teaspoon of flaxseed powder every day DIET PLANWhat to Skip: Sugar, white rice, fried foods, bakery stuff, too much milk. ✅What to Eat: Veggies, moong dal, millets, nuts, pomegranate, coconut water. – Walk every day – Don’t stay up too late – Keep stress down – Check your blood pressure and sugar regularly So, yeah, Ashwagandha and Safed Musli can be okay for you if you take the right amount. You’re doing the right thing by asking first! All the best, Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

Ashwagandha has effect on nerves. It’s calms mind , reduces stress. So better to take at bedtime ashwagandha churan 0-0-1tsp at bedtime with warm milk, so better to take at night or after dinner Safed musli help in strengthening of body. Increase testosterone, can be taken after breakfast. Both are herbal, ayurvedic medicine, safe to be taken in diabetes and heart patient.

Yes, you can take both but only in low-moderate dose and with strict monitoring. ✓Recommended safe dose & timing Ashwagandha (root powder or capsule) – 500 mg (or 3–5 gm powder) once at night with warm water/milk Safed Musli (powder or capsule) – 500 mg (or 3 gm powder) once at night with the same milk/water Total combined dose at night: 1–1.5 gm ✓Important safety rules Take only at night — never morning (can slightly raise BP/heart rate in some patients) Start with half dose for first 7–10 days → check BP & sugar twice daily ✓Monitor closely: BP every day (morning & evening) Fasting & post-meal sugar 2–3 times/week If BP rises >10–15 mmHg or sugar fluctuates → stop immediately ✓Do NOT take if you are on strong sedatives, blood thinners, or have active arrhythmia Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Yes Ashwagandha You can take. Dose 1 teaspoon (about 1–2 grams) Once daily after dinner With warm water (safer than milk for diabetes) Start for 15 days and check sugar. Safed Musli Better avoid at your age with diabetes and heart history. It is heavy and may increase sugar. Simple Advice Take only Ashwagandha low dose. Do not mix both.

HELLO, At your age 68 years, with diabetes and a history of bypass surgery 2008, you must be very careful with herbal supplements. Both ashwagandha and safed musli can affect blood sugar, blood pressure, and heart function CAN YOU TAKE THEM TOGETHER Technically, they are often taken together for general weakness or vitality IMPORTANT RISKS FOR YOU ASHWAGANDHA -can lower blood sugar->may cause hypoglycaemia if you are on diabetes mediciens -can lower blood pressure -may interact with heart medicines especially beta-blockers or blood thinners SAFED MUSLI -may also lower blood sugar -limited strong scientific safety data in heart patients -sometimes causes mild increase in heart rate Since you are a post bypass heart patents, safety comes first Start one supplement at a time, not both together ASHWAGANDHA= 250mg once daily after dinner monitor= blood sugar regularly SAFED MUSLI= 500mg once daily after breakfast Do not start both together initiallly wait 2 weeks before adding the second one DO NOT TAKE IF -you have unstable sugar levels -you get dizziness or low bp -you are on multiple heart medications -you take blood thinners like warfarin or high dose aspirin At 68 years, with diabetes and heart surgery history, focus more on -good sugar control -regualr walking -heart safe diet -proper sleep different tonics are not necessary and sometimes risky in heart patents DO FOLLOW HOPPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
