-It would likely be much weaker than prednisone -It is unlikely to control PMR flare symptoms on its own -It should not replace prescribed therapy . However - stigmasterol has shown: Anti-inflammatory effects Possible immune-modulating properties Antioxidant activity Potential cartilage-protective effects ---- u can do this after consulting with your physician -Low-dose methotrexate Slow prednisone taper Omega-3s Mediterranean-style diet

PMR is a strong inflammatory condition. It usually needs medical supervision. Don’t stop prescribed steroids suddenly. About Stigmasterol It is a plant sterol (found in some herbs). Has mild anti-inflammatory effect (mainly from lab studies). No strong human evidence for PMR. It is not equal to medical steroids. So, it may support inflammation but cannot replace steroid treatment. Simple Ayurvedic Support Plan Ashwagandha – for strength & inflammation Shallaki (Boswellia) – natural anti-inflammatory Guduchi (Tinospora) – reduces inflammation, improves immunity Warm turmeric milk at night Diet Avoid sugar, fried, processed food Take warm, simple, light food Add ginger + turmeric in cooking
