Concerns About Mukta Vati and Swelling - #50516
So I recently heard a doctor say he recommends Mukta Vati to his patients to manage high blood pressure. I tried it and it seems to be more effective than amlodipine or lisinopril. It also apparently stabilizes the heart rate. However, I noticed what appears to be leg and ankle swellings. Is this a known side effect? This actually controlled my bp in 2 days when I hear others say it takes multiple weeks. I would like to know if the swollen ankle and feet is a known side effect. Does it somehow alter your electrolytes? Reduces potassium or spikes sodium?
How long have you been taking Mukta Vati?:
- Less than 1 weekHave you experienced any other symptoms along with the swelling?:
- No, just swellingWhat is your typical diet like regarding salt and potassium intake?:
- Moderate salt, moderate potassium
