Seeking Advice for Gout and Swollen Ankle - #50850
I am suvrojit from kolkata 700136. Age 34 weight 77.5kg. From last 2 years I was under stress and increased weight drastically.From December 25 to till date I had swollen left leg ankle. Visited 2 joint ortho specialist. They had given pain and inflammation medicine. On Jan 23 blood work done. Uric acid came 8.3 and crp 6.99. Other kidney profile is normal (eGFR is 118). Allopath doc advised zincolchine 0.5 and febuxostat 80mg. After 2 days I had fever,again after a gap started febuxostat-again fever. Doc advised to stop febuxostat. Allopathy not suiting me. I started patanjali gokhshura guggul and chandraprabha vati. And giloy for 2 days. Again today I am having pain in ankle and knees (left). Does gokhshura/gokhshuradi guggul increase gout flares initially? as i have taken 2 days of 1-1 tab twice daily What should I do?. Here I my place ayurvedic doc is not available till 8 March. So I self med with gokhshura guggul and chandraprabha vati. Please genuinely suggest what to do.?

Hello, I am hoping that you are following the food restrictions as directed by joint-ortho specialists. Please continue that along with the following medications: 1. Gokshuradi guggulu DS(AVN) 1----0----1 after breakfast and afetr dinner for 90 days with medicine no.2 and medicine no.3 2. Varanadi kashayam 10ml----0----10ml + 3. Rasnapanchakam kahsyam 10ml—0----10ml By adding 80ml of boiled cooled water 45 minutes befroe breakfast and 45 minutes before dinner For 90 days. 4. Jadamayadi churnam mixed with hot water and applied as paste over affected joint;leave for 30 minutes and then wash with plain hot water. For 10 days. Take care, Kind regards.
