Seeking Relief for Continuous Headaches and Eye Pressure - #51998

Hello Iam 42 andiam getting continous head aches went to the optho I ahve eye pressure comes to 24 both eyes makes my uncomfortable. She suggested I got a brain as there was swelling on optic nerve, there is no IIH detected, pls suggest medicines I can take Iam taking drops suggest by optho..but I do get sudden pain in eyes with headaches

Avoid direct Sun rays exposure use hat or use umbrella when going out during the day. Besides recommended medication, you can also take Shirshoolavajradi vati 1-0-1 after food with water

You need to continue the eye drops prescribed by your ophthalmologist without missing any dose as high eye pressure can damage the optic nerve and affect vision You can take Manasamitra Vatikam 1 tablet twice daily after food Saraswathi Gritham 1 teaspoon in warm milk at night and Brahmi pearls 2 capsules once daily These will help support your nervous system reduce headache and improve mental clarity but they will not replace the eye drops Keep monitoring your vision for any sudden blurring double vision or loss of part of the visual field If these occur seek urgent medical attention Avoid excessive salt caffeine alcohol and straining the eyes Follow up regularly with your ophthalmologist to check eye pressure and optic nerve condition

Ayurveda can support- but not replace- this care, especially to protect vision Ayurvedic view -condition relates to aggravated pitta + vata imbalance -Affects eyes, head, nervous system -correlates with conditions like early Glaucoma or Optic nerve stress Internal medications 1) Triphala guggulu= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =reduces pressure, detox 2) Spatamrit lauh= 1 tab twice daily with honey after meals =best for eyes + optic nerve nourishment 3) Punarnava mandur= 2 tabs twice daily after meals = reduces swelling, fluid retention 4) Brahmi vati= 1 tab twice daily after meals =calms headaches, supports nerves 5) Pathyadi kadha= 2 tsp twice daily after meals with warm water = calms headache Eye care -Triphala eye wash mild, filtered= once daily -Rose water sterile = soothing -avoid excessive screen exposure Nasya= instill 2 drops of Anu taila in each nostril daily morning Diet very important -cooling. light food -ghee small amount daily -amla, coriander, leafy greens -warm water Avoid -spicy, fried, sour, fermented food -excess salt (can worsen pressure) -coffee, alcohol Lifestyle -sleep before 10:30 pm -practice pranayam Anulom Vilom, bhramari -avoid stress, anger long screen time Important caution -Eye pressure 24 is boderline high-> don’t stop eye drops -sudden eye pain + headache can be urgent-> seek immediate care if -vision blur -nausea or vomiting -severe pain Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
