जो आप बता रहे हैं — गाल पर बार-बार छाले, उसी जगह लालपन और बाहर से सूजन जो एक महीने से कम नहीं हो रही — यह सामान्य छाला नहीं है। यह स्थानीय Pitta-Kapha imbalance के साथ chronic irritation या infection जैसा pattern दिखा रहा है, इसलिए सिर्फ बार-बार gel लगाने से ठीक नहीं हो रहा। सबसे पहले local irritation को शांत करना ज़रूरी है। दिन में 2 बार Yashtimadhu (मुलेठी) चूर्ण + शहद मिलाकर हल्का लेप उसी जगह लगाएँ, 15–20 मिनट बाद साफ कर दें। इसके बाद Shatadhauta Ghrita या नारियल तेल हल्का लगाएँ ताकि जलन और redness कम हो। बहुत बार gel लगाना अभी बंद करें, इससे irritation बढ़ रहा है। अंदर से सूजन और छाले ठीक करने के लिए Khadirarishta 15 ml + 15 ml पानी दिन में दो बार खाने के बाद लें। साथ में Avipattikar churna ½ tsp रात को लें ताकि शरीर की अंदर की गर्मी (Pitta) संतुलित हो। खाने में अभी कुछ बदलाव करें। खट्टा, बहुत गरम, मिर्च-मसाले, गुड़ का ज्यादा उपयोग कुछ दिन बंद करें। नारियल पानी ठीक है, लेकिन बार-बार beetroot-gajar juice कम करें क्योंकि यह भी कुछ लोगों में Pitta बढ़ा सकता है। सादा, हल्का, ठंडक देने वाला खाना रखें। क्योंकि यह समस्या 1 महीने से ज़्यादा समय से एक ही जगह पर बनी हुई है और पहले से 2–3 साल से recurrent pattern भी है, इसलिए एक बार dental या oral examination कराना ज़रूरी है ताकि कोई chronic lesion, infection या दूसरी वजह पूरी तरह rule out हो सके। सही तरीके से care करने पर सूजन और redness धीरे-धीरे 2–3 हफ्तों में कम होने लगती है।
