Your symptoms show a clear Pitta aggravation with Vata involvement, affecting digestion, respiratory system, and tissue nourishment. Excess acid, chronic cough, weight loss, hair thinning, and early greying indicate that the body is not properly absorbing and utilizing nutrition despite eating. Treatment needs to focus on cooling Pitta, improving digestion without increasing heat, and nourishing the body (Brimhana). Start with Avipattikar Churna 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water to control acid and regulate Pitta. Take Sitopaladi Churna ½ tsp with honey twice daily for cough and throat soothing. For nourishment and weight gain, take Ashwagandha Churna ½ tsp twice daily with milk and Shatavari Churna ½ tsp at night with milk to rebuild strength and support hair health. Diet is very important. Avoid spicy, fried, sour, and acidic foods, tea/coffee on empty stomach, and long gaps between meals. Include ghee, milk, soaked almonds, dates, rice, moong dal, and cooked vegetables. Do not skip meals. Drink warm water, not very hot. For hair, apply Bhringraj oil 3–4 times a week and ensure proper sleep. Stress is playing a major role, so regular deep breathing or calming practices are necessary. With this approach, acidity and cough reduce in 2–3 weeks, and gradually weight, strength, and hair quality improve over the next 1–2 months.
