I recently got a blood test done and some of my reports came out abnormal. I am sharing them. The liver is the seat of Ranjaka Pitta. When it’s overloaded with toxins (Ama), the “digestive fire” of the fat tissue (Meda Dhatu Agni) becomes sluggish, leading to the accumulation of triglycerides and inflammation in the liver cells. ​1. Liposem Tablet This is specifically formulated for lipid metabolism. It helps “scrape” excess fat from the channels. ​Dose: 2 tablets, twice daily, after food. ​2. Heposem Tablet A potent liver tonic designed to stabilize liver enzymes and protect hepatic cells. ​Dose: 1 tablet, three times daily, before food. ​3. Varadi Kashayam A traditional decoction used for “Lekhana” (scraping) action to reduce triglycerides and clear internal blockages. ​Dose: 15ml kashayam mixed with 45ml lukewarm water, twice daily, on an empty stomach (30 minutes before breakfast and dinner). ​Critical Lifestyle Adjustments ​Medicine alone won’t move the needle if the “fuel” remains the same. To bring those numbers down: ​Avoid “White” Foods: Cut out refined sugar, white flour, and white rice. These spike triglycerides almost instantly. ​Liver Support: Stop alcohol consumption entirely until your SGPT/SGOT levels normalize. ​Movement: Aim for 30 minutes of brisk walking daily. In Ayurveda, sweat is a byproduct of fat metabolism; if you aren’t sweating, you aren’t processing that Meda (fat) effectively. ​Dinner: Keep it very light and finish it by 7:00 PM to allow the liver to detoxify overnight.
