What to do about excessive saliva while sleeping in an 87-year-old? - #53341

I’m 87 years old very healthy but all of a sudden I started having extra saliva running out of the corners of my mouth while I’m sleeping at night. I cannot figure out never have. I had anything like this in my life. I take cod liver oil all kind of electrolytes, I’m very health oriented was a pre-med student at one time.. I would just like your help on what I could take to stop this extra saliva it’s really weird and sometimes my mouth is very dry.
