This combination is generally tolerated, but Triphala Guggulu can have a mild laxative and metabolic effect, so it may slightly enhance the action of your current medicines. Start with a low dose and observe your body. Watch for: Loose motions or increased bowel frequency Excess weakness or lightheadedness Any unusual drop in blood sugar (especially with metformin) Dizziness (BP fluctuations) If any of these occur, reduce or stop. Keep your diet simple and regular, which is already good in your case. Warm water and proper meal timing are often enough for maintaining digestion. Triphala Guggulu – 1 tablet once daily after food (start) If well tolerated, you may increase to 1 tablet twice daily Take for short duration (3–4 weeks) and reassess.
