suggestion for taking Navaka Guggulu , I have been told that my cholesterol is high and they have prescribed statins for 2 months .

Navaka Guggulu can be used as a support for high cholesterol (Medo-roga), but with statins + diabetes, it should be taken carefully. Navaka Guggulu helps in Medo dhatu reduction, improves metabolism (Agni), and clears channels (Srotoshodhana). How to take (general guidance): 1–2 tablets twice daily after meals Take with lukewarm water or Triphala decoction Duration: 6–8 weeks, then reassess lipid levels With statins: Can be combined, but keep 1–2 hour gap Monitor for muscle pain, weakness, or digestive issues Do lipid profile + liver function test after 6–8 weeks Diet & lifestyle Avoid: fried, oily, sugar, heavy foods Prefer: barley, oats, garlic, warm water Daily 30 min brisk walking
