Your symptoms suggest Vata–Kapha imbalance with possible Ama (toxins) accumulation, leading to joint stiffness, back pain, fatigue, and raised uric acid. In Ayurveda, this condition is managed by improving digestion, reducing Ama, and balancing Vata & Kapha. 1. Diet (Most Important) Avoid high-purine foods: red meat, seafood, alcohol, fermented and fried foods Reduce Kapha-aggravating foods: curd (especially at night), heavy, oily, cold foods Take light, warm, easily digestible meals Include: Bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin Moong dal, barley, old rice Garlic, ginger, turmeric (anti-inflammatory) Drink warm water throughout the day (helps flush uric acid) 2. Ayurvedic Herbs Giloy (Guduchi) – detoxifies blood, reduces uric acid Gokshura – supports kidney function and uric acid elimination Triphala (at night) – improves digestion and removes Ama Ashwagandha – for muscle strength, fatigue, and Vata balance Shallaki / Nirgundi – for back pain and inflammation 3. Lifestyle (Vata–Kapha Balance) Do mild daily exercise (walking, stretching, yoga) Practice Abhyanga (oil massage) with warm sesame oil for back pain Avoid day sleep and prolonged sitting Maintain regular sleep timing 4. Simple Home Remedies Morning: Warm water + few drops lemon Ginger + turmeric decoction daily Soaked fenugreek seeds (methi) in morning 5. Panchakarma (if possible) Virechana (detox) and Basti therapy are highly effective for Vata disorders and uric acid issues 6. For Memory & Fatigue Brahmi or Shankhpushpi Adequate sleep + stress reduction (pranayama)

Your symptoms indicate high uric acid tendency + vata aggravation causing back pain, stiffness, fatigue and mild cognitive dullness. Diet (purine-rich foods) is a major contributing factor here. First correction is diet, otherwise medicines will not give full benefit. Avoid: Red meat, seafood, alcohol, excess dals like rajma/chana, spinach, mushrooms, sour and fried foods. Prefer: Light diet – moong dal, lauki, tori, pumpkin, rice, wheat roti. Drink plenty of warm water. Routine: Do not sit long. Gentle stretching and walking daily. Proper sleep is important. Ghar par: Start morning with warm water + few drops of lemon. You can take jeera water once daily to improve digestion. * Kaishore Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food * Punarnava Mandur – 1 tablet twice daily after food * Dashmool Kwath – 15 ml twice daily This will help reduce uric acid load, improve metabolism, and reduce back pain. For fatigue and memory: * Brahmi vati – 1 tablet at bedtime Follow for 6–8 weeks. Improvement will be gradual (pain and stiffness reduce first). If uric acid levels are very high, do a blood test and monitor. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
