This condition may be related to an imbalance of Pitta and Vata dosha along with long-standing Madhumeha (diabetes), which can cause excessive sweating, skin dryness, itching, and thickening of the skin. Ayurvedic Guidance 1. For Heavy Sweating in Genital Area Keep the area clean and completely dry. Wear loose cotton undergarments and avoid synthetic fabric. Wash with lukewarm water and gently dry the area. Dusting with Ayurvedic cooling powders like neem-based or sandalwood-based powder may help reduce moisture and irritation. 2. For Dry Skin & Itching Apply virgin coconut oil or neem oil mixed with coconut oil on dry areas before bath and at bedtime. Use mild herbal soap only; avoid very hot water. Daily gentle Abhyanga (oil massage) helps nourish dry diabetic skin and reduce itching. 3. Hard Skin on Palm This may be due to dryness, friction, or diabetic skin changes. Apply cow ghee or sesame oil regularly. Keep blood sugar well controlled because uncontrolled diabetes can harden and dry the skin further. Diet & Lifestyle Avoid very spicy, fried, sour, and excessive salty foods. Reduce tea, coffee, bakery items, and sugar. Include: Bottle gourd, ridge gourd, cucumber Amla, neem, turmeric Warm water throughout the day Avoid day sleeping and excessive heat exposure.
