I have tingling sensation in hands palms and sole of feet. Feeling cold in both parts too. Kindly give me home remedies as well as suggest medecines asap. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Tingling and cold sensation in hands and feet in Ayurveda is commonly related to Vata imbalance, weak circulation, stress, gas/bloating, or nutritional weakness. Since your symptoms are mild but present for a few months, early care can help a lot. Ayurvedic Home Remedies Drink warm water throughout the day instead of cold water. Take 1 tsp sesame oil or cow ghee in food daily to calm Vata. Gentle massage of palms and soles with warm sesame oil before sleep. Add dry ginger + cinnamon in herbal tea once daily for circulation. Avoid excessive tea/coffee, cold foods, packaged snacks, and late-night sleeping. Do light walking and stretching daily to improve blood flow. Ayurvedic Medicines (General supportive options) • Ashwagandha Capsule – helps nerve strength, stress, and circulation. • Yograj Guggulu – useful for Vata-related tingling and stiffness. • Maha Vat Vidhwans Ras or Vrihat Vatchintamani Ras may help in chronic nerve weakness only under Ayurvedic supervision. • If gas/bloating is frequent, Hingvashtak Churna after meals can support digestion and Vata balance.

Thanks Dr for your help. 1 quick question that can I take home made vata spices- grund cumin, coriander,fennel,ajwain powder and take it daily ?

Yes, you can take a homemade Vata-balancing spice mix of cumin, coriander, fennel, and ajwain in small daily amounts. In Ayurveda, these spices help improve Agni (digestion), reduce gas, bloating, coldness, and Vata aggravation. A simple way: Mix equal quantities and keep as powder. Take ½ teaspoon after meals with warm water once or twice daily.

Your symptoms suggest Vata aggravation with possible dhatu kshaya affecting peripheral nerves (similar to early Peripheral Neuropathy Internal Medicines Ashwagandha Churna – 3 g twice daily with warm milk Yograj Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Maha Vat Vidhwans Ras – 1 tablet once daily after food (short term, 2–3 weeks) Dashmoolarishta – 15 ml + equal water, twice daily after meals Home Remedies Garlic milk: boil 2–3 crushed garlic cloves in milk, take once daily Dry ginger + jaggery small piece after meals Soak feet/hands in warm water with a pinch of rock salt (10 min daily) External Therapy Abhyanga (massage) with sesame oil daily, especially palms and soles Gentle heat (mild fomentation) after massage Diet & Lifestyle Take warm, unctuous food (ghee, milk, soups) Avoid cold foods, refrigerated items, excess tea/coffee Maintain proper sleep
