What Ayurvedic remedies can I take for burning feet and diabetic neuropathy while on insulin? - #56072
I am 41 years of age. Recently 2 Months back diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes with HbA1c 13.3%, and FBS 306. I have visited Endocrinologist and She prescribed 2 Insulin for 3 times a day with Linaray M & diabetic neuropathy medicines. Then I tested HbA1c 15-20 days previously and saw a drop of 2.8% in HbA1c from 13.3% to 10.5% and FBS fom 306 to 90-110. Then Doctor has reduced from 3 times to currently 1 time and Linaray M medicines twice with other medicines. MY c-peptide 0.07 currently and Now the neuropathy pain on testicle is disappeared and also frequent urination as well. But currently burning sensation in feet is there with little pain and so much irritation there from ankle to feet for which I cant sleep properly with AC ON as there is so much cold sensitivity in my feet and ankle. ALong with allopathic medicnes and with night time insulin, I have started ayurvedic Madhugrit /madhunashni vati after lunch and chandrapava vati . But I observed that night time frequent urination increased, is it due to madhunashini or chandapava vati. Please suggest me some safe ayuvedic medicines which I can take for diabetic to regenerate dead beta cells and for the burning sensation on feet and ankle and also to reduce diabetic neuropathy safely can be taken along with allopathic medicines. Also currently I am using patanjali mahanarayan oil on feet. Please suggest some better as well

Your blood sugar improvement from HbA1c 13.3% to 10.5% is a very positive sign. In Ayurveda, diabetic neuropathy with burning feet is usually related to “Madhumeha causing Vata-Pitta aggravation” affecting the nerves and circulation. Since your sugars were very high recently, nerve irritation can continue for some time even after glucose improves. The increase in night urination may be related to Chandraprabha Vati, as it has mild diuretic action in some people. Madhunashini Vati can also lower sugar further, so it should be used cautiously along with insulin and diabetic medicines to avoid fluctuations. Ayurvedic Support for Burning Feet & Neuropathy… Rx… 1. Ashwagandha Capsule/Churna – helps nerve nourishment, weakness, stress, and improves sleep. 2. Giloy + Amalaki – supports metabolism and immunity without excessive heating. 3. Balarishta or Ashwagandharishta (small dose after meals) – helpful for Vata-related nerve irritation and fatigue. 4. Ksheerbala 101 oil or Mahanarayan oil gentle foot massage at night – better for neuropathy, burning, stiffness, and cold sensitivity. 5. Yograj Guggulu may help neuropathic pain, but only under supervision because you are already on insulin and other medicines. For Burning Feet Relief Soak feet in lukewarm water for 5–10 minutes before sleep. Avoid very cold flooring and direct AC air on feet. Apply cow ghee or Ksheerbala oil on soles at bedtime. Keep B12, Vitamin D, and kidney function checked, as deficiencies can worsen neuropathy. Important Dietary Advice Avoid sugar, sweets, fruit juices, bakery items, refined flour, and late-night meals. Prefer warm, light meals with methi, karela, jamun seed powder, green vegetables, and adequate protein. Do not skip meals while taking insulin.
