For trigeminal nerve irritation (like trigeminal neuralgia): Best choice Ekangveer Rasa → helps nerve pain & Vata disorder Also useful Dashamoola → reduces inflammation + supports nerves Avoid strong use Mahavatavidhvansa Rasa → very potent, no need With your Ashwagandha You can continue Ashwagandha powder (good for nerves + strength) Ekangveer Rasa – 1 tablet, 1–2 times daily (after food) Dashamoola decoction – 20–30 ml twice daily Ashwagandha powder – at night with warm milk

Since your trigeminal nerve irritation is mild and has been ongoing for some time, the safest approach is to start with Dashamoola along with your Ashwagandha powder. These are gentle and support nerve health. Stronger medicines like Mahavatavidhvansa Rasa or Ekangveer Rasa are usually only used if symptoms worsen, if symptoms worsen consult dose will be decided and medicines will be added —Rx: 1) Ashwagandhadi Lehyam – 5 g, 2× daily after meals 2) Dashamoolarishta – 2 tsp, 2× daily after meals, with water —Advice: Avoid stress, cold, and jaw strain; follow-up in 2 weeks.

Hello I can understand your concern regarding -Trigeminal nerve irritation And you are already comsuming Ashwagandha which is good you can continue =Which medication is good for your condition? you have asked about -Mahavatavidhvansa Rasa -Ekangaveera Rasa -Dashmoola so don’t worry I will clear your doubt =Mahavatavidhwansa Rasa -it is one of the strong medicine for vata disorder it is mostly used in severe conditions and so a first choice it will be strong on you aggravating your symptoms so it is a big NO =Ekangaveera Ras -This is best for nerve irritation It is best option among all the three =Dashmoola -It will work on vata and also help in reducing inflammation it is mild but supportive =Best approach for you
you can take combination take Ekangaveera Rasa as your main medication 1 tablet twice a daily after food Dashmool as a supportive Continue Ashwangandha =Additional treatment -NAsya Also instill 2 drops of anu taila in your nostrils it acts directly on your nerves -External Care apply Ksheerbala taila on your head and neck As your symptoms are mild and in early stage we can manage it very well with right medications so don’t worry Wishing you a good health Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Trigeminal nerve irritation is a very sensitive condition and it needs careful handling because this is not just a simple vata disorder but a condition where nerve inflammation and hypersensitivity are involved Among the medicines you mentioned Mahavatavidhvansa rasa and Ekangveer rasa are both strong herbo mineral formulations mainly used in severe vata disorders like paralysis and chronic neurological weakness they are not the first choice for trigeminal irritation especially without supervision because they are potent and can aggravate pitta or cause unwanted effects if not matched properly to your prakriti and condition Dashamoola is comparatively safer and works as an anti inflammatory vata pacifying support it can help reduce underlying inflammation and calm the system but it alone may not be sufficient for sharp nerve irritation Ashwagandha powder is good and you can continue it as it helps in nerve nourishment reduces stress and supports recovery but it works slowly and is more of a tonic than a direct pain reliever For trigeminal nerve irritation the approach should be calming soothing and stabilizing rather than aggressive medicines you can consider gentle options like medicated ghee such as Brahmi ghee or Ksheerabala oil externally for application around the neck jaw and temple region with very mild massage Warm oil application around the cervical region and face along with avoiding triggers like cold exposure stress irregular sleep and very spicy or sour foods will help in reducing irritation If pain is sharp electric or recurring frequently it is important to also rule out trigeminal neuralgia and in such cases combining modern pain management with Ayurveda gives better results So in simple terms avoid starting Mahavatavidhvansa rasa or Ekangveer rasa on your own continue Ashwagandha you can add Dashamoola for support and focus more on gentle nerve calming therapies and proper guidance for long term relief

Hello, You’re describing mild, chronic trigeminal nerve irritation (no pain, no trigger, > 6 months). In Ayurveda, this usually aligns with vata imbalance affecting Majja dhatu + nerve channels- not a severe pain condition yet, which is good Medicines choice most important Avoid strong ras medicines for now -Mahavatavidhwamsa rasa-> too strong, used In severe neuralgia/paralysis -Ekangveer ras-> also stronger, for paralysis/ stroke like condition These are not ideal for mild irritation without pain Best option for your case 1) Dashmoola kashaya= 20ml+ equal water twice daily after meals = vata pacification, subtle nerve inflammation, long term correction (safe) 2 ) Continue Ashwagandha= you’re already taking it-> god -dose= night, with warm milk =nerve nourishment , stabilizes vata, prevents progression Add one more this is key -Kalyanak ghrita= 1 tsp with warm milk in morning =if mental stress, subtle nerve sensitivity exists =as trigeminal irritation often has subtle neurological hypersensitivity External therapies Daily 5-10 min -warm sesame oil massage on face, behind ears, neck follow with mild steam =this directly calms local vata in trigeminal pathways Lifestyle correction (often the real cause) Avoid -excess screen time -cold exposure AC air on face -irregular meals -dry, processed food Add -warm, slightly oily food -regular sleep -gentle neck stretches Timeline -2-3 weeks= subtle improvement -6-8 weeks= noticeable calming -3 months= stable correction If you develop -sharp facial pain -electric shock like sensation -trigger points Then it may progress toward trigeminal neuralgia, and stronger medicines like rasa may be needed Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

the symptoms you described -chronic, mild irritation without sharp pain-pointing this as a Vata Vyadhi (a nervous system disorder caused by an imbalance of the Vata dosha). As Maha vaat vidhvansak Ras is quite high for your symptoms and a metallic potent herb But dashmularist and ekankgVeer Ras are good for this condition 1) ekangveer rasa - one tablet twice a day 2) dashmoolarishta- 15 ml with equal water twice daily after food 3) ashwagandha powder- continue taking it 3 to 5 grams at night 4) ksheerabala thailam- 3-5 drops to the affected side of the face your line once or twice a day gentle massage in circular motion Since the condition has persisted for 6 month this statement usually take 4 to 6 week to show significant results
