Hi Harshita, you can prevent hairfall with ayurvedic management. You just have to follow some diet and lifestyle advice along with some medications. 1. Asthi-Majja Pachak Vati 1-0-1 2. Neelibhringadi Oil for scalp massage (Take 5-10 ml of oil and gently massage on scalp for 5 minutes, then wash your hair after 30 minutes with baby shampoo. 3. Yasthimadhu Oil, 2-2 drops in each nostril in Morning and Evening for 3 months (This procedure is called Nasya in Panchakarma, very beneficial for hairfall)
Dietary and Lifestyle advice 1. Avoid spicy oily food 2. Make sure your digestion is proper (if not then take Vaishvanar churna 1tsp twice a day) 3. For a balanced routine, ensure a good night’s sleep, averaging 7-8 hours, and manage stress through meditation or yoga to maintain mental calm – again reducing vata imbalance. Consider practicing pranayama (breathing exercises) to promote relaxation.
Using a wide-tooth comb can prevent breakage. Avoid tight hairstyles. If hairfall persists, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized treatment, as underlying health issues can also contribute to hair loss.
Do keep in mind, if hairfall is sudden or excessive, it may suggest a serious health issue.
