Doctors' responses

-Pantoprazole only works if taken correctly Best: 30–60 min before your first meal If taken after eating or inconsistently → much weaker -Pepcid (famotidine) works differently Often more effective at night, not morning -Sucralfate can interfere with absorption of other meds Should be taken at least 2 hours away from pantoprazole or Pepcid 👉 If these overlap or are taken out of sequence, relief can be poor even with “strong” meds. -Do this now: Take pantoprazole before breakfast Eat small meals/snacks every 3–4 hours Avoid coffee, chocolate, mint, fatty foods Don’t lie down for 3 hours after eating Nhi to add ayurveda - Diagnosis (Ayurveda): Amlapitta (Pitta-pradhan, chronic) -Medicines 1)Avipattikar Churna – ½ tsp with lukewarm water – Before breakfast & dinner 2)Kamdudha Ras (plain, without mukta) – 1 tablet – Twice daily after meals 3)Shatavari Churna – ½ tsp with warm milk or water – At bedtime (Optional if burning severe) 4) Sutshekhar Ras – 1 tablet once daily after lunch -Pathya (Diet & Lifestyle) Small, regular meals Warm, freshly cooked food Rice, oats, moong dal, milk, ghee -Avoid: tea/coffee, fried food, sour, spicy, late meals No lying down for 3 hrs after food -Duration 3–4 weeks Review after 15 days
