I have numb toes. I am past 70 years of age. Besides walking and calf raises, is there anything I can consume that will help? Thank you.

Hello You are having numb toes since more than 6 months now I appreciate that you have already started with walking as movement will increase blood circulation ▪️Understanding this See numbness occurs when -There is poor blood circulation -Nerve related weakness is present -Vitamin b12 is low -Age related. ▪️Have you checked your vitamins in recent times ▪️Are you vegetarian ▪️Do you have any comorbidities like Diabetics or hypertension ▪️Are you on some regular medicines ▪️Ayurvedic Understanding We consider this as Suptata This is due to vata dosha imbalance in nerves (majja dhatu) So the treatment should focus on -Balancing the vata -Nourishing the nerves ▪️Ayurvedic plan of treatment ▪️Internal medication 1.Palsineuron 1 tablet twice daily after food 2.Ksheerbala capsule 1 capsule twice daily after food 3.Ashwagandha lehyam 1 tsp morning empty stomach (Avoid this if you are diabetic) ▪️External care Supthi taila= Apply warm oil on the numbness areas and massage in day time Eaze newton ointment = apply at bed time ▪️Diet plan We will consider that you may be Vitamin b12 deficient You should start eating -Walnut 2 daily -warm milk -5 Soaked badam -black sesame seeds ▪️Also Additionally Have more of garlic, turmeric and ginger in your diet This will reduce inflammation and improve circulation ▪️Important test if you have not done recently -Vitamin B12 -CBC -Blood sugar This all be gradually help you to reduce the numbness and imrove nerve health Wishing you a good health😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate
