Seeking Ayurvedic Remedies for Sleep Issues - #52295

I'm having trouble sleeping. I can't fall asleep in the evening and wake up many times during the night. I'm constantly troubled by thoughts. I think about the past day and can't fall asleep. Can you recommend an Ayurvedic remedy for sleep?

Hi Such things could happen when you are not felt much tired whole day…or something deep seated in your mind…for this I would like you to do some physical work so that get tired…avoid sleeping or rest at day time … Take these medicines as prescribed

Namaste, Your symptoms — difficulty falling asleep, frequent awakenings, and continuous thoughts — indicate disturbed sleep due to vata imbalance affecting the mind. The focus should be on calming the mind, improving sleep quality, and relaxing the nervous system. Maintain a fixed sleep routine. Avoid screen exposure at least 1 hour before bed. Take light dinner and keep a gap of 2–3 hours before sleep. Warm milk at night can be helpful. Reduce caffeine, especially in the evening. Simple practices like deep breathing or meditation before bed can help calm thoughts. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Brahmi Ghrita – 1 teaspoon at bedtime with warm milk Ashwagandha Churna – 1 teaspoon, once daily in the evening with warm milk Saraswatarishta – 15 ml with equal water, twice daily after food External support: Apply a few drops of Ksheerabala Taila on scalp or soles before sleep These are traditionally used to calm the mind, reduce overthinking, and improve sleep quality gradually. With consistent care, sleep improvement can be seen over a few weeks. Consultation can help tailor this further to your needs.
