Firstly, yes, Bael is generally safe during pregnancy but it’s gotta be consumed in moderation. Its cooling effect does indeed help with digestion and preventing constipation, a common issue when you’re expecting. But, and there’s always a “but”, too much of it might lead to excessive cooling or digestive issues. So, a small quantity - like half a cup daily - is probably best.

About morning sickness, Bael can be soothing for some folks, but it’s not universally a remedy for nausea. You could experiment with it in small doses to see how your body responds. Remember, each person’s prakriti (constitution) could react diffrently.

Now, talking vitamins: Bael is rich in vitamins like A, C, and minerals, which support health, but it’s not specifically high in folic acid, which is crucial during pregnancy. So balance it with leafy greens, lentils, or maybe a prenatal vitamin as suggested by your doc.
