पीरियड का कभी समय पर आना और कभी न आना, कम मात्रा में आना या 1–2 दिन ही रहना हार्मोनल असंतुलन, तनाव, थायरॉयड, PCOS, वजन में बदलाव या अन्य स्त्रीरोग कारणों से हो सकता है। स्त्रीरोग विशेषज्ञ से जांच कराना उचित रहेगा। आयुर्वेदिक सहायक उपचार: • अशोकारिष्ट – 15–20 ml बराबर पानी मिलाकर, दिन में 2 बार भोजन के बाद। • रजःप्रवर्तिनी वटी – 1 गोली दिन में 2 बार, चिकित्सकीय सलाह से। • शतावरी चूर्ण – 3 ग्राम, दिन में 2 बार दूध के साथ।

आयुर्वेद के अनुसार आपकी पत्नी के पीरियड्स का कम मात्रा में आना, केवल 1–2 दिन रहना और कभी-कभी महीना छूट जाना मुख्य रूप से वात दोष की वृद्धि और आर्तवक्षय (मासिक धर्म की कमी) का संकेत हो सकता है। संभावित कारण: शरीर में खून (रक्त धातु) की कमी मानसिक तनाव, चिंता या अधिक सोच-विचार कमजोरी या पोषण की कमी अनियमित भोजन और खराब पाचन शक्ति वजन का बहुत कम या बहुत अधिक होना हार्मोनल असंतुलन, थायरॉइड या Polycystic Ovary Syndrome जैसी समस्या आयुर्वेदिक आहार: प्रतिदिन खजूर, मुनक्का, अनार, चुकंदर और हरी सब्जियां लें। काले तिल और भीगे हुए बादाम का सेवन करें। दूध और घी (यदि पाचन ठीक हो) शामिल करें। अत्यधिक ठंडी, तली-भुनी और पैकेट वाली चीजों से बचें। दिनचर्या: 7–8 घंटे की नियमित नींद लें। तनाव कम करें। प्रतिदिन 20–30 मिनट टहलें। अनुलोम-विलोम और भ्रामरी प्राणायाम करें।

••आपकी वाइफ में जो लक्षण दिख रहे हैं—अल्पार्तव (Scanty Menses/Hypomenorrhea) और अनार्तव या अनियमित आर्तव (Oligomenorrhea/Irregular periods), जिसमें ब्लीडिंग केवल 2 दिन या उससे भी कम रहती है और कभी-कभी चक्र पूरी तरह मिस हो जाता है—यह आयुर्वेद के दृष्टिकोण से मुख्य रूप से वात और कफ दोष की विकृति तथा रस-रक्त धातु की क्षीणता (Nutrition deficiency/Anemia) की ओर संकेत करता है। ••आयुर्वेदिक दृष्टिकोण से संभावित कारण (Nidana & Samprapti) वात प्रकोप और अपान वायु वैषम्य: आर्तव का निष्कासन ‘अपान वायु’ का कार्य है। जब शरीर में रूखापन (Rukshata) या मानसिक तनाव बढ़ता है, तो अपान वायु विमार्गामी (disturbed) हो जाती है, जिससे ब्लीडिंग खुलकर नहीं होती। रस-रक्त धातु क्षय: यदि रस धातु (Plasma/Nutrition) और रक्त धातु कमजोर हैं, तो उसका उपधातु यानी आर्तव (Menstrual fluid) भी अल्प मात्रा में बनेगा। स्रोतोअवरोध (Blockage): कफ और मेद धातु के बढ़ने से आर्तववाही स्रोतों में अवरोध उत्पन्न होता है, जो आधुनिक परिप्रेक्ष्य में PCOD/PCOS या हार्मोनल असंतुलन (जैसे थायराइड) का कारण बनता है। 2. संभावित आधुनिक निदान (Modern Differential Diagnosis) एक बार क्लिनिकल प्रोग्रेस के लिए निम्नलिखित की जाँच (Investigation) अवश्य विचारणीय है: PCOS/PCOD (यूएसजी पेल्विस द्वारा) हार्मोनल प्रोफाइल: Thyroid (TSH), Prolactin, या Hb% (Anemia रूल आउट करने के लिए)। ••रजःप्रवर्तिनी वटी 2 वटी दिन में दो बार (गुनगुने पानी या कुमारीआसव के साथ) यह तीक्ष्ण और उष्ण वीर्य होने के कारण स्रोतोअवरोध को हटाकर आर्तव को प्रवृत्त करती है। इसे पीरियड की संभावित डेट से 7-10 दिन पहले शुरू करना सबसे अच्छा रहता है। •नष्टपुष्पांतक रस 1 रत्ती (125 mg) दिन में दो बार यदि कफ-वातज अवरोध अधिक है और चक्र मिस हो रहा है, तो यह उत्तम आर्तव जनन रस औषधि है। ••कुमारीआसव या सप्तसार कषाय 4 चम्मच (20 ml) बराबर पानी मिलाकर, भोजन के बाद अपान वायु का अनुलोमन करता है और गर्भाशय को बल देता है। ••फल घृत 1 चम्मच सुबह खाली पेट गुनगुने दूध के साथ यदि रस-रक्त क्षय या वात की रुक्षता मुख्य कारण है, तो यह गर्भाशय के एंडोमेट्रियम को पोषण देता है। ••पंचकर्म / बाह्य चिकित्सा (If required) उत्तर बस्ती: यदि स्रोतोअवरोध या एंडोमेट्रियल थिकनेस बहुत कम है, तो सुकुमार घृत या तिल तैल की उत्तर बस्ती बेहतरीन परिणाम देती है। मात्रा बस्ती: सहचरादि तैल या तिल तैल की मात्रा बस्ती अपान वायु को शांत करने के लिए अचूक है। 4. पथ्य-अपथ्य (Diet & Lifestyle Advice) आहार: भोजन में तिल, गुड़, हींग, मेथी, अजवाइन और पपीता जैसे उष्ण और वात-अनुलोमक द्रव्यों को शामिल करें। दूध और घी का नियमित सेवन कराएं ताकि धातु क्षय की पूर्ति हो। विहार: मानसिक तनाव (Stress) को कम करने के लिए प्राणायाम (विशेषकर अनुलोम-विलोम) और कपालभाति सहायक हैं। रात्रि जागरण (Late night sleeping) से बचें, क्योंकि यह सीधे वात और हार्मोन्स को बिगाड़ता है।
