Can Ayurveda completely reverse stage 2 uterine prolapse in a 45-year-old with varying symptoms? - #55622
I am 45 year old and just got diagnosed with stage 2 uterine prolapse.is it reversible throughly Ayurveda. I will be starting physiotherapy soon. My symptoms vary each day and intensity alsovaries, Bligh some quiet days as well. Mostly I feel false poop urges or sitting on a ball feeling or my tailbone hurts with sitting. I read online standing makes prolapse worse, it i find it more relieving than sitting. Also I do some gentle yoga stretches including rabbit and child pose. I read online they are not good in prolapse, but before I got diagnosedI felt good after doing them. Please guide.

यह समस्या मुख्यतः Apana Vata dushti / pelvic floor weakness से जुड़ी मानी जाती है। Stage 2 prolapse में Ayurveda से supportive improvement हो सकता है, लेकिन पूरी तरह reverse होने की guarantee नहीं; इसलिए pelvic floor physiotherapy जरूर continue करें। –Rx: 1) Dashmool Kwath 20 ml + 20 ml warm water BD after food 2) Ashokarishta 15 ml + 15 ml water BD after food 3) Triphala Churna 3 g HS with warm water if constipation/straining 4) Praval Pishti 250 mg + Mukta Shukti Pishti 250 mg BD with honey/ghee after food — 4 weeks 5) Mahanarayan Taila / Bala Taila gentle local abhyanga on lower back & lower abdomen OD, no deep pressure —Panchakarma / Local therapy: -Matra Basti with Bala Taila / Dashmool Taila 30–50 ml for 7–14 days — only under supervision -Avoid strong Virechana or aggressive Panchakarma initially ----Pathya: Warm, soft, Vata-shamak diet Avoid constipation, gas, straining Use footstool during stool, breathe out, do not push Continue pelvic floor physiotherapy/Kegel —Apathya: Heavy lifting, jumping, running, deep squats Kapalbhati, Bhastrika, strong core exercises Long sitting on hard surface Cold, dry, fried, very spicy, gas-forming food —Follow-up: 4 weeks; continue conservative management 6 months.

Hello maam , uterine prolapse completely can’t be reversed but the symptoms you have mentioned can be managed like frequent urges for stool and bloating . Medication along with vaginal pichu you can try that will help to strengthen muscles there and relieving symptoms . Try pelvic floor exercises .
