I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with such a variety of headaches and discomfort. It sounds like you’re experiencing a combination of symptoms, including vertigo, dizziness, migraines, and nerve weakness, which can certainly be frustrating. Medhya Rasayana and Brahmi are indeed commonly used in Ayurveda to support brain and nerve health, improve mental clarity, and help with conditions related to stress and headaches. Brahmi is especially beneficial for calming the mind, reducing anxiety, and supporting cognitive function, which could be helpful in your case.

Panchagavya Ghrit, a type of Ayurvedic ghee prepared with cow’s milk, ghee, and other ingredients, is sometimes recommended in Ayurveda to support overall health, particularly for balancing Vata and Pitta doshas, which are often involved in headaches and dizziness. It may help nourish the nervous system and reduce the severity of headaches, but it’s essential to use it under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner, especially considering the range of symptoms you’re experiencing.

For a holistic approach, it’s important to consider lifestyle and dietary changes in addition to any treatments. For migraines and tension headaches, Ayurveda often recommends herbal remedies like Ashwagandha (to reduce stress and inflammation), Shankhapushpi (for mental clarity), and Turmeric (a potent anti-inflammatory). Proper sleep, stress management through yoga and meditation, and hydration can also make a significant difference.

In terms of nerve weakness, Rasayana herbs like Ashwagandha, and treatment like Shirodhara (oil pouring therapy) or Nasya (nasal drops) are often recommended for nurturing the nervous system and promoting overall well-being. But again, it’s very important to work with an Ayurvedic practitioner who can give tailored advice based on your specific symptoms and constitution.

If the headaches are severe or persistent, it’s essential to rule out any underlying health issues with a doctor, and Ayurveda can be used as a complementary approach for managing symptoms over time.

Dealing with headaches like vertigo and migraines can be exhausting. Medhya rasayana and Brahmi are great choices from your doctor because they’re known to calm the mind and support the nervous system. Those herbs aim to balance the Vata dosha, which often goes haywire and causes issues like migraine or dizziness. But you know, headache is a tricky condition and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.

Panchagavya Ghrita is sometimes used in Ayurveda for headaches, especially when Pitta-related imbalances are present, but it’s essential to know the nature of your dosha imbalance before adding more remedies. The ghrita might help if the root cause is a Pitta issue. However, using too many medecines at once without guidance can lead to other imbalances.

Consider this, have you addressed stress and lifestyle? These play a big role in headaches. Simple practices like regular sleep, avoiding screen time at night, or practicing gentle yoga or meditation might make a difference in frequency and intensity of your headaches. Also, watch out for your diet, spicy or fermented foods often aggravate Pitta and Vata doshas, leading to headaches.

Sometimes, even just drinking warm water with a bit of lemon first thing in the morning can help keep the digestion moving smoothly, balancing the agni (digestive fire) and keeping doshas in check. How’s your digestion? Because imbalance there can exacerbate headaches, oddly enough.

And don’t forget, if the headaches become unmanageable or present new symptoms, it’s critical to seek immediate medical evaluation. Regular follow-ups with your healthcare provider are key to ensuring proper care. Addressing multiple symptoms takes time, patience, and often a combination of approaches. Take one step at a time.
