My partner and I have been exploring different birth control options, and we recently came across spermicide as a method. It sounded simple enough—it’s supposed to kill sperm and reduce the chances of pregnancy. But when we looked deeper, we found out that spermicide can cause irritation, allergic reactions, and even increase the risk of infections if used frequently. Now we’re second-guessing whether it’s a good option for us. I’ve always believed in natural methods, so I started wondering if Ayurveda has any safe and effective alternatives to spermicide.
