Namaste,

This condition, often linked to excess Pitta and Vata imbalance, can be managed effectively with Ayurvedic medicines, diet, and lifestyle modifications. Since you are already taking Patrangasana, Styplon, and Ashokarishta, we will focus on strengthening your treatment to stop excessive bleeding, relieve pain, and restore energy.

1.Remedies to Stop Heavy Bleeding

Cold Infused Coriander Water: Soak 1 tbsp coriander seeds overnight in water and drink it in the morning. Coriander is a natural uterine tonic and reduces excess bleeding. Pomegranate Juice with a Pinch of Sandalwood Powder: Helps cool down excessive Pitta and controls bleeding. Aloe Vera & Wheatgrass Juice (10 ml each, twice daily) – Helps cleanse and heal the uterus Pushyanug Churna (1 tsp with rice water) – Traditionally used for heavy menstrual bleeding 🔹 Chandraprabha Vati (1 tablet twice daily) – Reduces back pain, fatigue, and hormonal imbalance.

3. Pain Relief for Stomach & Back

Apply warm castor oil or Mahanarayan Oil on your lower abdomen and back, then use a hot water bag for relief. Ajwain & Fennel Tea (Boil 1 tsp ajwain + 1 tsp fennel in water) – Eases stomach cramps.

4. Fatigue & Weakness Recovery Drink dates & almond milkshake daily for energy. Take Draksharishta (10 ml with water) to restore strength. Include iron-rich foods like sesame seeds, beetroot, and jaggery to prevent anemia.

5. Lifestyle & Yoga for Quick Recovery

Rest & Avoid Overexertion: Heavy bleeding causes weakness, so avoid excessive movement. Mild Yoga: Supta Baddha Konasana & Child’s Pose help relax the uterus. Breathing Exercises: Anulom Vilom & Sheetali Pranayama cool the body and balance hormones.

How long have you been taking these medicines, and have they reduced the bleeding at all? Is the bleeding continuous, or does it come in heavy bursts? Have you been diagnosed with fibroids, endometriosis, or any hormonal imbalance? Are you also experiencing dizziness, weakness, or low hemoglobin levels? Also have you undergone hormone testing recently? It is also ideal to to histopathological testing of your endometrium .

I get it, dealing with all that is no fun. Heavy bleeding, or menorrhagia, is rough, and 18mm endometrial thickness is a lot. Sounds like those tablets just ain’t doing the job, is it? First off, let’s address the bleeding. Ashokarista is great but might not cut it alone in your case. Maybe try adding ‘Lodhrasava,’ it’s another classical Ayurvedic formulation that helps control bleeding.

Also, about the heavy stomach and back pain, could be due to vitiated Vata playing its tricks. To balance it, you can take warm sesame oil massages. Just a gentle rub on the belly and back can ease the discomfort—use warm water bag later, it can be comforting too, ppl say.

Diet matters. Have light and warm foods, avoid cold, heavy stuff like dairy, red meat or too much sugar. No spicy food, might aggrevate the condition. Stewed apples or cooked vegetables with cumin and mustard seeds can soothe your system. Also, drinking coriander and cumin seed tea helps in relieving pain; just boil a teaspoon of each in water and sip on it.

Do you practice any form of light exercise or yoga? Even gentle stretches can significantly ease the pain. Especially poses like Knee-to-Chest or Child’s Pose can relieve lower back tension.

And fatigue is nasty! For that, listen to your body, rest as much as you can. Tulsi tea with honey can help fight fatigue and relax your system. If symptoms gets worse or don’t improve, it’s time to see a gynecologist or an Ayurvedic physician for a personalized consultation. Heavy bleeding requires pro intervention sometimes. Do not wait long if this doesn’t help soon, your health is priority!
