For the past few months, I’ve been experiencing an uncomfortable sensation in my legs, especially at night. It feels like a tingling, crawling, or burning sensation deep inside my legs, and the only way to relieve it is by moving them. This has been affecting my sleep quality, making me feel exhausted during the day. A doctor suggested that I might have Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS), a condition related to nerve function. Since I prefer natural treatments and Ayurvedic approaches, I want to understand—what is Restless Leg Syndrome, and does Ayurveda offer ways to relieve leg discomfort and improve sleep naturally? From what I understand, Restless Leg Syndrome is a neurological condition that causes an uncontrollable urge to move the legs, especially during periods of rest or inactivity.
