In Ayurveda, your symptoms might relate to an imbalance in the Vata dosha, which is characterized by pain and mobility issues. Managing these symptoms involves addressing lifestyle, diet, and specific treatments to stabilize your Agni (digestive fire), balance Vata, and nourish your dhatus (body tissues).

1. Dietary Adjustments: Consume warm, cooked meals. Prioritize vegetables like spinach and carrots, and avoid foods that might aggravate Vata like raw vegetables and cold drinks. Include ginger tea to improve digestion and reduce inflammation.

2. Lifestyle Changes: Avoid excessive physical activity that strains your back and knees. Gentle exercises and yoga poses, like Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose), may help. These enhance flexibility and relieve tension but do them carefully and if any movement causes pain, stop immediately.

3. Ayurvedic Treatments: Panchakarma, particularly Snehana (oleation therapy), can alleviate Vata imbalance and pain. Consider consulting an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner for treatments suited to your prakriti (constitution).

4. Herbal Support: Herbs like Ashwagandha can help rejuvenate your tissues and reduce fatigue. Dosage should be as prescribed or consider using Ashwagandha supplements.

Chondromalacia patella (softening of knee cartilage) can further complicate knee pain. Regular gentle walks on even ground may help maintain joint function. Apply warm sesame oil on your knees for relief.
