How to get my periods on time?? - #23030

I'm not getting my periods from 3 months and I have a sudden weight gain and I have acne on my whole face and my whole body pains a lot and feels very tired even after not doing anything... Please Suggest me some methods to overcome this

When periods become irregular or absent, it often signals an imbalance within the body’s doshas. In Ayurveda, such symptoms, especially when combined with sudden weight gain, acne, body pain, and fatigue, could indicate an imbalance in the Vata and Kapha doshas. These symptoms might suggest an underlying condition like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Still, examining your specific constitution and lifestyle is crucial.

Start by regulating your daily routine. Waking up and going to bed at consistent times helps stabilize your body’s internal rhythm. Engage in light exercise like yoga or walking, but avoid intense workouts which might further imbalance Vata. Regular activity also aids in balancing Kapha by reducing weight.

Diet also plays a significant role. Incorporate warm, cooked foods like soups and stews. Avoid cold or raw foods which might aggravate Vata. Spices like ginger, cinnamon, and turmeric can improve digestion, enhance Agni (digestive fire), and promote circulation. These spices can also help in metabolizing the excess Kapha responsible for weight gain.

Triphala, an Ayurvedic herb, can be taken to manage weight and improve digestion. Soak a teaspoon of Triphala powder in a glass of warm water overnight, drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. This could help cleanse the digestive system and regulate metabolism. However, ensure you’re buying from a reputable source.

Stress and anxiety, often associated with imbalance in Vata, can also affect menstrual health. Practice regular meditation or Pranayama (breathing exercises) to calm your mind, which in turn can help regulate your menstrual cycle.

Lastly, avoid excessive caffeine and sugar, which can aggravate doshas and lead to further imbalance. Both can contribute to fatigue and acne as well. Instead, hydrate with herbal teas like spearmint or chamomile, known for their soothing properties. These steps can help rebalance your doshas and support regular menstruation, but if symptoms persist, consult with a healthcare professional to rule out conditions requiring more immediate intervention.
