I am trying to figure out what is sciatica pain in hindi because I've been dealing with this awful pain for like the last few months. It started very mildly, just a little tweak in my lower back, but then it developed into this constant pain shooting down my leg. I didn't know what to think at first, but then I heard someone mention sciatica and thought, could this be it? Every time I bend over or even sit for too long, the pain just flares up. Some nights I can't sleep because of it! I did a bunch of research but there are so many terms and the translation hasn’t helped much. I want to understand what is sciatica pain in hindi because knowing more might help me explain this to my family back home. They don’t get how debilitating it feels, and I feel a little lost. Would anyone be able to break it down for me in simple terms?

हिन्दी में, सायटिका पेन को “गृध्रसी” कहा जाता है। यह दर्द एक नस में हो रहा होता है जो आपके लोअर बैक से कूल्हे और जांघों से होते हुए टांगों तक जाती है। जब ये नस, जिसे “सायटिक नर्व” कहा जाता है, किसी प्रकार से उत्तेजित या दबाई जाती है, तब यह दर्द होता है।

गृध्रसी का मुख्य लक्षण वही होता है जो आपने बताया - यह एक तीव्र दर्द है जो पीठ के निचले हिस्से से शुरू होकर आपके एक पैर की तरफ नीचे की ओर फैलता है। कैसे यह दर्द बढ़ता है, यह कई चीजों पर निर्भर करता है, जैसे कि अगर आप लंबे समय तक बैठते हैं या कुछ उठा रहे होते हैं।

आयुर्वेद के अनुसार, गृध्रसी को वात दोष से जोड़ा जाता है। जब वात दोष बढ़ जाता है, तब यह सूजन या दबाव के माध्यम से इस नस को उत्तेजित करता है। इससे निपटने के लिए कुछ सरल उपाय हैं जिन्हें आप आजमा सकते हैं:

1. बहेंगे: अपने खाने में वात कम करने वाले खाद्य पदार्थ जोड़ें, जैसे कि घी, तिल का तेल, और गर्म प्रकृति के मसाले जैसे अदरक, हल्दी।

2. योग एवं आसन: कुछ योगासन जैसे भुजंगासन और सेतु बंधासन आपके पीठ को समर्थन देने में मदद करते हैं और नसों को आराम देने में भी। इसे धीरे-धीरे और डॉक्टर की सलाह के साथ ही करें।

3. उपचारात्मक तेल से मालिश: आइये अर्कदी तेल या महानारायण तेल का उपयोग कर सकते हैं। इसे धीरे-धीरे अपने पीठ निचले हिस्से और पैर पर मालिश करें।

4. आराम और एक जैसी क्रियाएं न करें: लंबे समय तक एक ही स्थिति में बैठने या खड़े रहने से बचें। बीच-बीच में टहलते रहें.
