Shivering of hand and body you described is a symptom that requires careful consideration. Based on Ayurvedic principles, this may be a sign of Vata imbalance, which regulate functions related to movement and nervous sytem. When Vata dosha is aggravated, it can lead to symptoms like tremors and involuntary movements.

First, analyze your lifestyle and diet, as they can influence Vata. Cold, dry, and irregular routines can imbalance Vata. Try to incorporate warm, grounding, and regular practices into your daily routine. Ensure that your meals are warm, cooked, and oily instead of cold and light. Foods like ghee, warm soups, and milk with turmeric may help balance Vata.

Consider timing and type of foods. Eating meals at regular intervals can maintain blood sugar levels. Having small, frequent meals instead of large ones, particularly if it was helping you earlier, can help alleviate this problem.

Lifestyle? stay away from cold wind, and ensure you’re resting adequately. Try incorporating practices like Abhyanga (self-massage) with warm sesame oil to calm the nervous system. Sleeping early, around 10 p.m., is suggested, and ensure you get up by 6 a.m.

Practices like yoga and meditation can assist in calming the mind and body, focusing on grounding poses and pranayama like Nadi Shodhana.

If tremors persist, it’s crucial to consult a healthcare professional, as they can be symptomatic of underlying neurological conditions that need further examination. Immediate intervention with a qualified professional is necessary if shivering is unmanageable or you’re feeling additional symptoms. Ayurveda complements but doesn’t replace medical diagnosis and treatment when required.

Shivering in your hands and body may be a sign of imbalance in the doshas, particularly Vata. In the Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective, excess Vata can lead to involuntary movements, including tremors. First, it’s crucial to ensure that these symptoms are not a sign of a more serious condition, such as a neurological disorder or metabolic imbalance. Consulting with a healthcare provider promptly is recommended to rule out such possibilities.

If this is a Vata imbalance, incorporating grounding and warming practices can be beneficial. Start with diet; focusing on warm, cooked, and moist foods can help pacify Vata. Favor well-cooked grains like rice and oats, root vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes, and warming spices such as ginger and cumin. Eating at regular intervals is crucial to maintain steady energy levels and avoid fluctuations.

Next, make sure to create a routine that minimizes stress. Gentle exercises like yoga and Tai Chi can be helpful, while more vigorous exercises should be avoided as they may aggravate Vata. Ensure adequate and regular rest can greatly contribute to balance. Sleep on time and aim for roughly 7 to 9 hours a night, adjusting as per your personal need.

Simple lifestyle adjustments like keeping your body warm, avoiding cold and windy environments, and practicing self-massage with sesame oil can support grounding of Vata energy. Also, consider taking herbal remedies after consulting with a qualified practitioner, to ensure they are tailored to your constitution and any other conditions.

Monitor the symptoms, and if there is any significant change or if they worsen, do not hesitate to seek further assessment by a health professional to ensure comprehensive care.
