For managing PCOD, continued focus on balancing your doshas and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is crucial. The supplements and medicines you’re currently using—Amycordial syrup and Ashwagandha tablets—are beneficial. Amycordial helps in regularizing the menstrual cycle and supporting reproductive health. Ashwagandha can aid in reducing stress and balancing hormones, which is helpful in PCOD.

However, given your condition, you might want to consider incorporating Phala Ghrita into your routine. Phala Ghrita is an Ayurvedic preparation that can help enhance female reproductive health. You can start with taking a small amount, about 1/4 teaspoon, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Follow it with warm water, ensuring it assimilates well in the body. Monitor how your body responds over a few weeks and adjust as necessary. It’s important to do so in consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure it fits your specific prakriti (constitution).

Maintaining a balanced diet and regular exercise is equally important. Emphasize on consuming fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Avoid processed foods, excessive sugars, and dairy, which can aggravate Kapha, a common dosha imbalance in PCOD. Exercise such as yoga or brisk walking, at least 30 minutes a day, can be very beneficial. Also, consider incorporating stress-reducing practices like meditation or pranayama to help balance Vata and improve circulation.

Since you’ve experienced low urea levels, it’s best to keep your healthcare provider informed of any supplements and monitor blood levels periodically to ensure your overall health is maintained. In case of any adverse symptoms or concerns, seek medical advice promptly to adjust your treatment plan appropriately.

For managing PCOD with irregular periods and the issues you’ve described, there’s a need to balance your doshas, particularly working on balancing Kapha and Vata dosha, which are often aggravated in conditions like PCOD. Although you’re using Amycordial syrup and Ashwagandha tablets, let’s refine the approach to bring more alignment with the Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective.

First, Ashwagandha is beneficial for reducing stress and supporting hormonal balance, so it’s good to continue taking it. Make sure you’re having it consistently, right before bed is ideal to help your body relax and reach a state where healing can occur.

Considering your primary symptoms are related to irregular and scanty menstrual flow, Phala Ghrita could indeed be beneficial, as it is known to support female reproductive health and menstrual regularity. It should be taken about 1 teaspoon twice daily on an empty stomach in the morning and before sleep, but do consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure it’s suitable for your constitution.

Additionally, diet is also crucial. Aim to include more warm, easily digestible foods. Avoid processed items and cold or heavy foods which can aggravate Vata and Kapha. Incorporate spices like cumin, coriander, and fennel in your meals to help boost digestive fire (agni).

As for your concern about urea levels, this should be monitored closely in consultation with your healthcare provider, and any noticeable changes should be discussed. Regular check-ups and perhaps adjusting your herbal intake based on recent tests and symptoms would be wise. Remember, Ayurveda works deeply on restoring balance, so changes may take some time.

Lastly, daily routines like yoga or pranayama exercises can help balance energy channels (nadis) and reduce stress. Addressing PCOD holistically involves layering these approaches, rather than relying purely on medications. Keep attuned to your body’s responses and adjust accordingly with proper guidance.
