To strengthen nerves, addressing both stress and diet is essential. Stress exacerbates Vata dosha, which governs the nervous system, leading to symptoms like tingling and numbness. Incorporate Ashwagandha as a supplement, a powerful nerve tonic. You can take 1 teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder with warm milk or water before bed. Bhringaraj is another beneficial herb, it helps balance Vata, aiding in nervous issues. Consider mixing Bhringaraj powder with warm water, consuming this twice daily after meals.

For diet, focus on Vata-pacifying foods—warm, nourishing, and soothing. Incorporate sweet and savory flavors, avoiding bitter and astringent ones. Iron-rich foods, like spinach and beets, also support nerve health. For daily meals, favor cooked vegetables, whole grains, and good fats like ghee, which strengthens Ojas, supporting vitality and resilience.

Regarding burning in the stomach and anus, this indicates Pitta imbalance. Avoid spicy, oily, and acidic foods; instead favor cooling foods like cucumber, fennel, and coconut. Amla (Indian gooseberry), helps cool down Pitta; take it in juice or powder form—½ teaspoon daily in water is effective. To soothe the burning sensation, try aloe vera juice, 20-30ml on an empty stomach in the morning.

Stay away from caffeine and alcohol, as they aggravate the condition. Consider engaging in regular mild exercise like walking or gentle yoga to reduce stress. And practice deep breathing exercises, such as Anulom Vilom and Shitali Pranayama, daily for a calming effect. Hydrate well, aiming for at least 2.5-3 liters of lukewarm or room temperature water daily—this helps flush out toxins and keeps your digestive system well-balanced.

If the symptoms persist or intensify, it would be best to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner or and a medical professional, it ensure that you are receiving the appropriate care for your condition.

HELLO SUDHIR,

A) NERVE WEAKNESS, NUMBNESS AND TINGLING These sensations- numbness, tingling, weakness and Neve sensitivty- suggest vata imbalance. in Ayurveda. Vata is the bio-energy responsible for all movement and communication in the body- including nerve impulses , circulation, and sensory perception

When vata becomes disturbed due to -stress, anxiety, irregular sleep -incomplete digestion or malnutrition -overuse of stimulants like coffee -lack of oil or nourishment in the body -cold, dry, irregular diet or lifestyle –it starts “drying up” and “agitating” the nerves. This manifests as numbness, tingling, neuralgia, burning, and weakness

Because you had trigeminal neuralgia in the past, it shows that your nervous system is sensitive and depleted- an underlying chronic vata disorder

B) BURNING IN STOMACH AND ANAL REGION This is due to pitta aggravation- excess heat and acidity in the digestive tract It may be triggered by -spicy, sour, fried, or heavy foods -stress and irregular meals -excess anger, worry ,or heat exposure -excess coffee or tea

This aggravated pitta irritates the stomach lining and rectal mucosa, causing burning in the stomach, acid reflux, and anal burning especially after spicy foods

So in your case- vata and pitta are both out of balance

TREATMENT GOALS Ayurveda doesn’t just suppress symptoms; it works to restore harmony in your doshas and strengthen tissues -balance vata -balance pitta -ejuvination -detoxify

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm milk twice daily for 3 months =strengthens nerves, calms vata, reduces stress

2) BRAHMI GHRITA= 1 tsp in warm milk once daily at night for 2 month =improves brain nerve coordination and memory, calms mind

3) KSHEERBALA TAILA 101 CAPSULES= 1 cap twice daily after meals for 3 months =classical neuroprotective and anti inflammatory tonic for nerves

4) SARASWATARISHTA= 15ml with equal water after meals twice daily for 3 months =enhances nerves function, reduces anxiety, acts as a nervine tonic

5) AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1 tsp before meals with warm water twice daily for 2 months =reduces acidity, relieves burning sensation in stomach

6) KAMDUDHA RAS with mukta shukti= 1 tab twice daily with milk fr 1 month =neutralizes excess acid, cools down pitta

YOGA AND PRANAYAM -shahshankasana -bhujangasana -taddasana -vrikshasana -matsyasana Avoid overexertion or strong heating posture

PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= balances vata pitta, improves oxygen flow to nerves -Bhramari= soothes the nervous system -Sheetali/sheetkari= excellent for reducing burning and excess body heat

DIET -eat warm, soft, well cooked, mildly spiced meals -ghee, milk, buttermilk , fresh fruits, soaked almonds, dates -moong dal, rice, wheat, pumpkin, bottle gourd, sweet potato -coconut water for cooling pitta

AVOID -spicy, sour, fried, fermented foods like pickles, vinegar -caffeine, alcohol, smoking -eating late at night or skipping meals

HOME REMEDIES -aloe vera juice 2 tbsp + cold milk 1/2 cup in the morning- for acidity -soaked raisins and almonds daily- strengthen nerves and cool pitta -cow’s ghee 1 tsp at bedtime with warm milk- lubricates nerves, improves sleep -cumiin-coriander- fennel water- boil 1 tsp each in 1 L after; sip throughout the day

Your condition is manageable and reversible with proper Ayurvedic care -It’s important to be consistent- Ayurvedic therapy works gradually but deeply -Combine medicines with diet discipline yoga stress control and regular sleep -Avoid multitasking overthinking or erratic routines - these aggravate vata -stay hydrated and use ghee or sesame oil in your daily cooking

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU
