2 years before I had pcod. But now I recovered fromPcod. But still I have male pattern like facial hair growth especially in the chin. I also have facial in cheeks and below the nose. Pleasesuggest medicine for hirsutism.

This imbalance can lead to increased levels of androgen, which contribute to male-pattern hair growth. Here I’ll outline some Ayurvedic approaches you might consider.

First, addressing your diet is crucial. Adopt a pitta-pacifying diet — favor cool, bitter, and astringent foods. Include plenty of green leafy vegetables, cucumbers, carrots, and beets. Reducing spicy, sour, and salty foods could help balance your pitta levels. Avoid processed foods and sugars as they can increase kapha and further disturb your hormonal balance.

Herbs play a key role in managing your condition. Consider using Triphala, which aids in detoxification and balancing doshas. You can take it as a powder or capsule daily, usually before bed, with warm water. Shatavari is also beneficial, as it’s renowned for balancing female hormones; it can be taken as a capsule or in powder form, about 500mg, twice daily before meals with milk.

Application of a homemade paste of turmeric and chickpea flour on the affected areas can help. Mix equal parts with a few drops of water to form a paste, apply, and leave it till dry before washing off. Regular use can reduce hair growth.

Be mindful of your routine. Incorporate regular physical activities like yoga or brisk walking to balance hormones and reduce stress. Specifically, practices like Surya Namaskar can be very grounding and regulating for your hormonal balance.
