Addressing recurrent UTIs, vaginal dryness, depleted libido and allergy symptoms can be managed holistically through Ayurveda. Recurrent UTIs often indicate a pitta imbalance, resulting in excessive heat in the body. Begin by incorporating cooling foods, like cucumber, watermelon and coconut water daily. Avoid spicy, fried or sour foods which could aggravate pitta. Drinking a tea made from coriander seeds (1 tsp) steeped in hot water can also be cooling and cleansing—consume twice daily.

Vaginal dryness and zero libido can relate to a vata and potentially kapha imbalance as well. Including ghee in the diet can nourish the body’s tissues; take 1 tsp of ghee with warm milk before dinner. Additionally, Ashwagandha is known to support hormonal balance and energy—take about 500mg per day after meals. Shatavari could be useful too; 1 tsp of the powder mixed with warm milk at night helps nourish reproductive tissues.

For allergy symptoms, consider boosting your agni (digestive fire). Digestive aids like trikatu (a mix of black pepper, long pepper, and ginger) can enhance digestion and detoxify—take 1/4 tsp before meals. Nasya therapy using Anu taila or warm sesame oil can help clear nasal passages; tilt your head back and apply 2-3 drops in each nostril once daily.

Lifestyle changes are also essential. Regular yoga and pranayama can support physical and hormonal wellbeing. Engage in moderate exercises and practice calming activities, like meditation, to enhance body-mind equilibrium. Nightly oil massage (abhyanga) with sesame oil warms and supports the skin and underlying tissues, considered especially helpful for vata and pitta balance.

Consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner is wise to tailor these to your prakriti and adjust based on personal requirements. Hormone Replacement Therapy, as suggested by some doctors, may require a detailed assessment along with ayurvedic practices for best outcomes.
