I recently underwent Kshar Sutra treatment for an anal fistula, and I'm feeling kinda unsure about what precautions I should follow now. The doctor explained some things, but I was in such a rush during my consultation that I forgot a lot of it. Now I’m worried I might mess something up and slow my recovery. The Kshar Sutra procedure itself wasn’t too bad, but now I’m having mild pain and discomfort around the treated area. I also noticed some discharge, which I assume is normal, but I just want to be sure. Are there any precautions after Kshar Sutra treatment that I should follow to reduce the risk of infection or further complications? For example, I’ve read online that diet can play a big role in healing. Is it true that eating fiber-rich foods is essential after Kshar Sutra treatment? Should I avoid spicy foods or oily stuff? Also, how important is it to stay hydrated? I’m not sure if drinking water helps speed up the healing process. Another thing that’s worrying me is exercise.
