Namaste. Your symptoms suggest Apana Vata imbalance and Pitta-related inflammation.

Ayurvedic Management:

Internal Remedies: Ashokarishta: 20 ml twice daily to reduce pain and regulate cycles. Kanchnar Guggulu: 2 tablets twice daily for cyst reduction. Diet: Avoid spicy, fried, and sour foods. Include cumin, fennel, and coriander in your diet. Lifestyle: Perform gentle Yoga (Malasana) to improve pelvic circulation.

Dealing with pelvic pain, especially during periods, can be quite distressing, I understand. It seems like there might be a link between the haemorrhagic cyst and the pain you’re experiencing. In Ayurveda, the pain and discomfort during menstruation can often be traced back to an imbalance in the Vata dosha. The bloating and mild gas problem you mentioned might be an indicator of aggravated Vata too, despite that Nutcracker Syndrome, which can add to the congestion but it’s a good idea to look into each issue.

Try a warm sesame oil massage on your lower abdomen and back area once or twice a week, maybe even more often when the discomfort is intense. Sesame oil is warming, which soothes Vata and can help relax the muscles. For the gas, consider adding hing (asafoetida) to your meals, or taking a pinch of it with warm water after eating. Its’ potency to aid digestion can be a boon.

Think about your diet a bit too, opt for foods that are easier on your tummy, like warm, cooked meals with spices such as ginger, cumin and turmeric. Avoid raw, cold, or overly processed foods 'cause they tend to irritate Vata. Keeping your meals simple and regular might help… Oh, and hydration! Sip on warm water through the day.

Yoga is another ally. Gentle poses like Supta Baddha Konasana or Viparita Karani can help ease pelvic congestion and pain, practice them as comfort allows.

I’d recommend keeping track of your symptoms – just a simple note of when the pain is worse, what you ate or did, that kind of thing. It can help spot patterns and adjust treatments. Since Nutcracker Syndrome can be complex, stay in touch with your regular doctor, especially if symptoms change or worsen. Keep safety in mind, and if pain suddenly intensifies, reach out for immediate care – don’t wait.
