For what ?? Amrit Kalash can be taken by colon cancer patients only after consulting their oncologist, especially if they are on chemotherapy It is mainly an immunity booster (Rasayana). Regular Amrit Kalash contains sugar and honey. It does not contain pure glucose, but it has natural sugars. If the patient has diabetes or needs sugar restriction, choose sugar-free version For colon cancer patients Prefer low sugar or sugar-free formulation Take in small dose Avoid during active diarrhea or severe indigestion

It has antioxidant and immunomodulatory properties. It may help reduce chemotherapy-related toxicity and improve quality of life in cancer patients according to some cases. ADV: If your oncologist approves, you can definitely go for it.

HELLO, Since you’re undergoing chemotherapy for colon cancer, it’s very important to be cautious with any formulation ABOUT AMRIT KALASH Amrit Kalash is an Ayurvedic herbal formulation promoted for immunity, antioxidant support, and rejuvenation. It usually contains herbs like amla, ghee, honey, and herbal extracts.Som versions may contain sugar or jaggery as part of the base CAN COLON CANCER PATIENTS ON CHEMOTHERAPY TAKE IT? 1) DURING CHEMOTHERAPY -Chemotherapy drugs work through specific biochemical mechanisms -some antioxidant-rich supplements ma interfere with chemo effectiveness, depending on the drugs -Herbal preparations can sometimes affect liver metabolism of chemotherapy medicines 2) SUGAR CONTENT -Regular Amrit Kalash often contains sugar or sweetners -sugar does not directly “feed” cancer, but excess sugar may –spike blood glucose –increase inflammation –reduce overall metabolic stability during treatment -sugar free versions are generally preferable if allowed 3) IMMUNITY -while it is marketed as an immune booster, during chemo your immune system is suppressed -Not a “immune boosting” are appropriate during active cancer treatment MY RECOMMENDATIONS Because you are on chemotherapy, you should -first consult your oncologist before starting Amrit kalas -If approved, choose a sugar free version -Start with a very small dose and monitor digestion -stop immediately if you notcie= loose stools, nausea worsening mouth sores increasing, liver enzyme changes Instead of complex formulation, gentler options may be safer -warm water with a few drops of lemon (if no mouth sores) -lightly spiced moong dal soups -small amounts of fresh amla if tolerated -turmeric in food -fresh homemade food, easy to digest WITH MODERATE ENERGY LEVELS Since you mentioned moderate energy -focus on protein intake dal, panner, lentils -small frequent meals -avoid heavy, oily, or very sweet tonics THANK YOU

Hello I understand you’re getting chemo for colon cancer and want to know if Amrit Kalash is okay to take, and if you should go for the sugary or sugar-free kind. You’re also worried about glucose. That’s a really good question when you’re dealing with cancer treatment. Okay, so in Ayurveda, colon cancer messes with your body’s balance, causing tissue issues, weak digestion, and low immunity because of both the cancer and chemo. *Chemo can cause – Tissue loss – Weak digestion – Low immunity Amrit Kalash is like a booster – it’s supposed to help your immunity and protect your cells. Basically, we want to: – Boost your immunity – Shield healthy cells from chemo side effects – Help your digestion – Keep you from losing weight and feeling tired – Help your body repair itself Without helping cancer grow or messing with your blood sugar. So, Does Amrit Kalash Have Sugar? Yes. It’s got natural glucose from stuff like raw honey, fruit, and herbs. It’s not the same as processed sugar; it’s meant to help your body rebuild itself. But since cancer cells like glucose too, the amount and type you take matters. Which Type is Best? – If you have colon cancer and are on chemo: Go for the Sugar-free Amrit Kalash ONLY. – If you’re diabetic or pre-diabetic: Sugar-free only – If you have weak digestion or bloating: Sugar-free – If you’re underweight or really weak: You might be able to use the regular version, but only if someone is keeping a close eye on you The sugar-free Amrit Kalash should be good for colon cancer patients. It shouldn’t spike your blood sugar or feed cancer cells. AYURVEDIC PLAN Take all medicines under supervision 1. Amrit Kalash – Sugar Free: 1 teaspoon twice a day, morning and night on an empty stomach. It should act as an immunity booster. 2 Guduchi (Giloy) Satva: 500 mg twice a day. Protects during chemo and fights tumors. 3. Ashwagandha Churna: 3 grams twice a day. Helps with chemo fatigue and muscle loss. HOME REMEDIESWheatgrass juice 30 ml a day – Pomegranate juice (mixed with water) – Turmeric and black pepper in warm water DIET PLAN INCLUDE – Rice water – Veggie soups – Pumpkin, bottle gourd (veggies) – Mung dal (beans) – Coconut water – Steamed apples ❌What to stay away from: – Sugar – White flour – Fried food – Red meat – Baked goods – Packaged juices LIFESTYLE – Walk a little bit every day – Get enough sleep – Don’t stay up too late – Meditate and breathe deeply – Try not to stress out (it’s not good for cancer) So, yeah, the sugar-free Amrit Kalash seems like it could be good for colon cancer patients getting chemo. It’ll help your immunity without helping cancer cells grow. I hope you feel better soon! Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Yes, Amrit Kalash can generally be taken by colon cancer patients on chemotherapy Sugar content & which version to choose Classic Amrit Kalash (with sugar): Contains sucrose (cane sugar) — about 3–4 g per 10 g serving. ✓Choose Amrit Kalash Sugar-Free / Nectar Sugarless Dose: 10 g (≈1 level teaspoon) once daily in the morning with warm milk/water Take after chemotherapy session if possible (not on empty stomach during active nausea) ✓Always show the label & ingredients to your oncologist before starting , even herbal formulas can interact with chemo drugs (CYP450 enzymes). No major glucose spike expected with sugar-free version, but monitor blood sugar if diabetic. Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
