यह समस्या 'प्रदर या आर्तव विकार के अंतर्गत आती है, विशेष रूप से जहाँ रक्त का रंग और साथ में दर्द हो, उसे वात-पित्तज दोष की असंतुलन से होता है। पूरे महीने भूरा स्राव और मासिक धर्म के दौरान अत्यधिक दर्द गर्भाशय की पुरानी सूजन (Endometritis), हार्मोनल असंतुलन, या गर्भाशय में ‘आंव’ (Toxin) के जमा होने का संकेत हो सकता है। 1) Sukumaram Kwath-15 ml क्वाथ + 45 ml गुनगुना पानी सुबह और शाम (खाली पेट) 2) Menery Tablet-1 से 2 गोली दोपहर और रात के भोजन के बाद 3) Asokarishtam-20 ml + बराबर मात्रा में पानी भोजन के 30 मिनट बाद 4) Dhanwantharam Thailam- मासिक धर्म से पहले पेट के निचले हिस्से पर मालिश करें क्या न खाएं अचार, सिरका, नींबू और अधिक लाल मिर्च का त्याग करें। मैदा, दही (विशेषकर रात में) और फ्रिज का ठंडा पानी न पिएं। चाय और कॉफी का सेवन कम से कम करें, क्योंकि ये वात को बढ़ाते हैं। विहार मासिक धर्म के दौरान भारी शारीरिक कार्य या व्यायाम न करें। दर्द के समय हॉट वाटर बैग से पेट के निचले हिस्से की सिकाई करें।
