I have been struggling with stress, anxiety, and mild depression for a while now, and while I have considered conventional antidepressants, I want to explore depression treatment in Ayurveda as a more natural approach. I recently read that Ayurveda treats mental health holistically by focusing on mind-body balance, but I don’t fully understand how it works. From what I’ve learned, Ayurveda sees depression as an imbalance in Vata and Kapha doshas, which affects mental clarity, emotional stability, and energy levels. But how do Ayurvedic treatments help in balancing these doshas? Are there specific herbs like Ashwagandha, Brahmi, and Jatamansi that are effective in treating mood disorders?
