Loose motions that are persistent and unresponsive to conventional assessments can be really distressing. It makes sense to consider an Ayurvedic approach that can address potential underlying imbalances in your body. Based on what you’ve described, it sounds like there might be some aggravated Pitta dosha, particularly in your digestive system. This dosha imbalance could be causing hypersensitivity to certain kinds of foods like spices and tamarind. Let’s go through a few personalized recommendations:

First up, diet. It’s crucial to stick to a Pitta-soothing diet. That includes avoiding spicy, sour, salty, and fried foods which can worsen Pitta. Favor foods that are cooling and calming like ghee, milk, rice, cucumber, and green vegetables. Be careful with tamarind and acidic fruits; they’re likely triggering.

Enhance your digestive fire, or agni, without aggravating Pitta. Drink a decoction of ginger and lemon before meals—just boil a few slices of ginger and add some lemon juice once it cools a bit. This can help digestion without overstimulating the gut lining.

Herbs like Bilva (Bael fruit) can be beneficial as it helps bind stools and stabilize bowel movements. You can consume Bilva fruit pulp once a day on an empty stomach.

Take care of your mind too—it is connected. Stress and anxiety can exacerbate your symptoms. Incorporate practices like meditation or pranayama, particularly cooling breaths like Sheetali Pranayama, into your daily routine.

Drink plenty of water, at room temperature—avoid it cold, as that might aggravate the symptoms. A simple but effective remedy is to mix a teaspoon of Isabgol (psyllium husk) in warm water every night before bed to stabilize bowel movements.

Track your meals and symptoms vigilantly, as self-awareness can be a powerful tool in managing this condition. It’d be wise to work closely with an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner for a tailored approach, especially if these initial steps don’t bring relief. Also, do not hesitate to seek immediate medical help if your symptoms worsen suddenly. Your health is most important, and your situation deserves attentive care.
