Arthritis, disc bulge, and cervical spondylitis, all points to different vata imbalances according to Ayurveda. Balancing vata helps reduce inflammation and alleviates the pain you’re experiencing. Let’s start with some practical steps you can into your daily routine.

Firstly, diet plays a crucial role. Include warm, cooked foods like soups and stews, as they are easier to digest and pacify vata. Favor sweet, salty, and sour tastes, and incorporate ghee or sesame oil; they have lubricating properties essential for joints. Avoid dry, cold foods, and cut on intake of raw vegetables, caffeine and processed foods as they aggravate vata.

Hydration is key; have warm turmeric milk before bed, it can improve your sleep and act as natural anti-inflammatory aid. Speaking of turmeric, using this in dishes or a supplement, if convenient, could support reducing inflammation, thanks to curcumin.

Exercise is important, but gentle. Engage in light yoga or stretching that do not strain your back or neck. Especially, focus on asanas like Bhujangasana (Cobra pose), Marjariasana (Cat-Cow Stretch), and Shavasana for relaxation. Ideally, practice early morning or evening when vata is more stable.

Applying warm sesame oil on the affected areas before showering might provide some warmth and lubrication. It helps in soothing aggravated vata.

Consider consulting with an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized herbal regimen, Ashwagandha and Gugulu might be considered beneficial but should be taken under guidance.

Ensure you’re keeping stress levels in check, as stress can exacerbate inflammation. Practicing mindfulness techniques or simple deep-breathing exercises can be helpful.

Finally, regular routine is a strong vata pacifier. Try to establish a regular sleeping and eating schedule, it might lend more stability to your body’s rhythms, ultimately reducing pain.

Please be mindful; if condition worsens or persists, medical consultation for integrated approach is necessary, as some treatments might require urgent interventions.
