Can Rajahpravartini Vati Alleviate Abdominal Heaviness and Bloating? - #22648

I am kinda freaking out about my health lately. So a few weeks ago, I started experiencing this weird heaviness in my abdomen and like a constant pressure that won’t go away! It’s been uncomfortable, and I even had some bloating. I went to the doc, and they mentioned something about digestive issues. I’ve read that rajahpravartini vati can help with these kinds of problems, but I honestly don't know much about it. Have any of you tried rajahpravartini vati? Did it work for you? I’m just wondering if it can really help with these symptoms or if I should look into something else. I feel stuck, and any advice would be great!

When these energies become disturbed due to factors like stress, irregular meals, heavy or cold foods or emotional overload, symptoms like abdominal aavis, bloating, gas, and pressure can arise. You can rather go for the following regime that will help you with the digestive issues Include Hing (asafoetida) in your diet. Include buttermilk in your diet. Skip on all addictions. Avoid all types of tea. None will help. Try to have dinner before sunset, if that is not possible try walking atleast 15 mins after dinner. (no brisk walk) Avoid pickles, papad, fried food, non veg food in dinner.

Syp. Bhunimbadi Kadha 2tsp twice a day before with luke warm water Tab. Suthshekhar Ras 2tabs twice a day before food with lukewarm water. Tab. Ampachak Vati 2tabs twice a day before food with lukewarm water. Tab. Kamdudha Ras 2 tabs twice a day before food with lukewarm water.

Tab. Shankhavati 2 tabs after food chew and eat

I really believe that if you *actually* want to heal someone, you gotta see the whole picture—Ayurveda gives you that depth, but you also need to know when modern input is useful, right? I don’t rush into giving churnas or kashayams just bcz the texts say so... I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout.
