I am really trying to figure out if besan is good for kidney patients, cause my dad was just diagnosed with some kidney issues last month, and we are all freaking out a little. You know, he has been feeling super fatigued, and the doctors said his kidney function is not where it should be. He used to love eating besan chilla every weekend, but now I'm scared that he shouldn't eat it at all! Like, is besan good for kidney patients, or should we completely cut it out? I mean, I read somewhere that it has protein and stuff, which sounds good, but I'm worried it might have too much potassium or something?? I don’t want to mess up his diet more than it already is. We want him to feel better, but with all the information out there, it’s a bit overwhelming. What do you all think? Is it safe for him to have besan or should I try to find alternatives?
